According to the Associated Press, Bell went to juvenile court Thursday expecting a routine hearing, when a judge ruled he had broke his probation agreement with the charges from a school fight that got national attention and prompted a march of thousands in Jena, La."We feel this was a cruel and unusual punishment and is a revenge by this judge for the Jena Six movement," the Rev. Al Sharpton said.
Earlier this month, Bell walked free on bond after 10 months behind bars.

To me it seems that we ars using color instead of right and wrong. We need to teach our children how to constructively respond to things with out violence. It is getting so bad that everything a minor does lands them in jail.We can not treat them as adults but cannot let them free as children so PARENTS what should you do?

Blacks are always treated unfair/unjust. We are the fall guy for all situations of life; be it court/police/law etc. Our only hope is to pray and ask God for HELP in all aspects of life.

Here we are again people, racsim white supremacy rearing its ugly again for the umpteenth time. This will continue until we understand it for what it is and with much conviction begin to talk about why it exists. Then and only then will we make some progress. All this marching and protesting will only be just what it is, marching and protesting. I am not here to talk about our efforts, they are sincere and meaningful, but are they really solving the problem? Are we making any progress? As soon as we think we are, there is a denial that there is a problem . Deceit and violence are the proponents that keep this going. Look at the logic?

rleic.u are so right .its hard for out there for our young black boys and men in today society, who don't treat our kids the way they do their own .yet, in the eyes of God we all are the same.with the help of God . raised four sons as a single mom.thank God neither of them ever got in trouble . we must raise our children in the ways of God if we want them protected from the evil thats our there today. put them in Gods hands and trust God to care for them. i see y in the word it saith put trust in no man , but trust in God.man will always fail us , yet God never will and his a father of his word. he can call each other names daily, but y give place to the devil. let get back to where our fathers way back did . prayer in our lives and homes , i'm a witness prayer changes things and people. lets pray for ones who we see hates us because of our color. Love always gives one hope and peace. edie

I think people and the media are forgetting the real issues with Jena. I am sure everyone on this post has gotten into a fight or their kids. No one is condoning the kids for fighting but we need to put more emphasis on the fact that in 2006 there was a so called "white tree" for whites only. The white boys hung NOOSES, called the Jena 6 racial names, pointed a gun at one of the 6 boys, jumped one of the 6 kids at a party. The other real fact is that none of the white kids got the same treatment and neither were tried.

Frankly I think the parents are the punks in this case. They should have stepped up and fought for their kids, not laid in wait for some teenage boys to beat down a kid to address a very serious wrong.

The Lou ain't no joke, people. The good ole' boys are large and in charge over there....Katrina taught us nothing? I may catch flack for this, but the best revenge is to SUCCEED. Growing up in Houston, Texas and still living here has taught me so much about color and justice. I knew for a fact that judge 'was not going to be made a fool out of' He has been stroking his Grand Wizard cloak since Bell was freed thinking of a MASTER plan to fix all of this. I hope this is a learning experience for Bell. No parade this time young man,...serve your time and SUCCEED. No more fights, no more breaking the law.
