According to the Associated Press, Bell went to juvenile court Thursday expecting a routine hearing, when a judge ruled he had broke his probation agreement with the charges from a school fight that got national attention and prompted a march of thousands in Jena, La."We feel this was a cruel and unusual punishment and is a revenge by this judge for the Jena Six movement," the Rev. Al Sharpton said.
Earlier this month, Bell walked free on bond after 10 months behind bars.

Desiree, Yeah, I watch, I learn and I make my opinions. Watching is like watching a slow train wreck. He is a thug..has a record, will likley have a short life..young black men have a much shorter life span. Over 70% born out of wedlock, just a fact of the Black community. I'm not hating anyone, I just get pissed when I hear bitching about whites when 90% of the damage to the black community is done by blacks to blacks. What IS a joke is your denial of the facts of your own "community". White Boys that emulate the thug life are just as much to blame.

Hello, Is anyone getting the big picture? This was a hate crime. Six black men beat up a white student. Can you even imagine the uproar if it was six white kids who beat up a black kid? Reverse discrimination is very prevalent in this society. The hate is both ways. I can even tell you how many times I have personally been discriminated against by black people or seen it. We need to work on ending hate period, black or white. By the way, Mychal Bell has committed numerous crimes and violated his probation.
