CNN will air a segment on how the violent symbol of the noose has resurfaced. "The Noose: An American Nightmare."
But does CNN really understand whose "noose nightmare" this is exactly? Did CNN consider the possibility of more copycats by highlighting the incidents? The program will look at its history of hatred, the Columbia University noose incident, one with the Coast Guard, a noose hanging at Maryland University and the Jena Six, which brought this racist tool of expression and violence back into the spotlight.
Kyra Phillips reports on the re-emergence of nooses. Phillips is white, but first off, Phillips is a good journalist and her race does not matter in that regard. She covered Katrina, 9-11 and some of the biggest stories in America over the last few years.
But could a black reporter bring more meaning and a perspective that a white reporter could not?
Or would an African American journalist disenfranchise a certain audience who thinks he or she is just black and biased?Who knows if CNN asked these questions before filming the segment. Those are tough questions and it's much easier to just roundup all the recent noose cases and report on them.
Having one of CNN's African American reporters deliver this story could have painted a clear picture of the terrifying message that nooses have really sent through the black community. That message is one of fear, racism, death, history and hatred.
That story has not been reported. And neither has the story on how these hate crimes have gone unpunished.

I missed this. I think I saw it & passed by it on the TV @ the gym though. I usually dodge some of this kind of stuff because I have to keep controll of my own resentment/anger/bitterness which can become unforgiveness/vengeance. They are the direct opposite of love/joy/peace/forgiveness, etc etc, & in Spiritual Warfare they're are all some of the spirits that we pray against & attack them back because they attack us/humans. They use those feelings/emotions as tools to divide & conquer mankind. I'm like everybody else & want my pound of fleshly retribution & have to constantly give it to Jesus so that I can make it. I just won't make it otherwise.
Literally if you can control what a person belives then you can control what that person does. That's why reading/believing the Word of God is imperative because His Words give life & are life & are weapons of warfare against His enemies who's your enemies & my enemies. As you already know the word Satan means adversary.

Everyone... every women, every man... all people of all faiths and all races must find a way to embrace each other's differences, and search for compromise and a way to co-exist. The alternative is an unthinkable future for our children…

Listen to al the hate. How can racism die if someone doesn't stand up and take the high road. When people mirror those they dispise and the actions they hate, then there is nothing more than a double sided hate. It will never end because you teach hate, and point fingers spewing hate. Take a good long look in the mirror. Do you really want your kids to grow up to be like you?

"The reason you're 'here' is not to be good, to be better, to be perfect, to get 'stuff' done, to save the world, to save a person, to prove something, or to be anything... other than YOURSELF. That's all you have to work on. That's all you can do. And by doing it... all those other things will happen anyway."
