According to the Associated Press, Williams thought she was going to a party when she tagged along with a woman she says she hardly knew in one of her first public interviews. . "I realized I'd made a bad mistake."
She has no doubt that she would be dead if the police had not shown up on a tip.
Six people accused of becoming her captors are charged with sexually assaulting Williams, racially taunting her and forcing her to eat rat droppings. They are scheduled for court in January.

I DON'T AGREE WITH THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT FOR NO ONE. BUT I'M NOT GOD AND WILL NOT PRETEND TO BE I NO MY FATHER IS IN CONTROL IN THIS LIFE WE NEED MORE LOVE HATE IS DESTROYING ALL THE LOVELY LIFE OUR FATHER HAS MADE I'M GOING TO PRAY FOR THESE PEOPLE AND ASKED GOD TO FORGIVE ALL OF US FOR OUR LACK OF UNDERSTANDING THIS PARADISE HE GAVE US. I THINK EACH INDIVIDUAL SHOULD GO TO PRISON FOR LIFE.

I have to say, like Megan, they should fry! As for the racism being down south and not so much up north is definately an understatement. Racism is more so up North and more so undercover. At least white folks in the south tell you how they feel. Up north, they smile in your face and pretend to like you then watch you fail or be purnished differently from them. Racism is all over. In the North,South,East and West. Its in the Courts, Hospital,and in Education. My advise is to always fight for your rights,not necessarily turning the other cheeks works. If we as a group of people don't stop killing each other and united, we will be headed back to slavery. Stop believing in White folks so much much and believe in each other, believe in ourselves.

Unfortunatly this is a reminder of how the media has an influence on people.
The movie Hostel, has the same premise in which this young lady has gone through.
The way society has allowed people to revert back to such barbaric ways is crazy.
In these days of such hatred, it is Love that we have for one another that heals and helps all.

They are in the south the punishment will never fit the crime.white people commit crimes against black people everyday in the south and get slaps on the wrists.lets be honest.so be prepared to see an injustice.

This is a horrific act indeed. I have faith that justice will be served. People who brutally try to dehumanize others should see their lasting days on earth totally confined to a prison cell made a perfect square just 1" larger in size than their height. Death would be too easy on these torturers..
