But the truth is in New York, the relationship between the District Attorney's offices in all of the Five Bouroughs and One Police Plaza has always been highly politicized, and the ground must be tread lightly, or risk poor cooperation in future prosecutions.
Right now though, I think some of the best coverage of this whole issue is on WNYC's The Brian Lehrer Show. In fact, it's probably the best radio program in the entire New York metropolitan area. Steve Harvey, Wendy Williams and Funkmaster Flex could learn a thing or two from this cat.
Check out the continuing coverage of the Bell trial via podcast below. They've promised to keep people abreast of what's happening and they haven't failed since the shooting.

has this happen to us sooooo much that our anger has past?if we walk...then the police will be given their freedom without a fight,cause they are cops they will be seen az the law and walk,,this kid is DEAD leavin a child behind that will never know his father,not to mention how hard women love the man she will marry tomorrow yet tommorrow never came and never will,have we really become sooo numb? will the cops walk AGAIN!

This case was senseless. Police shooting anyone in this matter should not be tolerated at all at any time.Justic has to be demanded.My prayers are with his family and widow.

Scum like what? The victims or the police??If you mean the victims what makes them scum. Because they were leaving a bachelor party? Are any white guys ever shot leaving a bachelor party? We know how rowdy and disruptive they can be when they are drunk yet you never hear of them getting shot at, much less 50 times. This is an atrocity any way you look at it. Don't be so quick to call people scum. There is scum of every race and on both sides of the badge.
