CNN exit polls show Democrats have not moved beyond race. In North Carolina, African Americans made up one-third of Democratic primary voters. Obama received 91 percent of the black vote to Clinton's seven percent. Sixty-one percent of white voters supported Clinton, 37 percent supported Obama.
In Indiana, Obama received 90 percent of the black vote to Clinton's 10 percent. Sixty percent of white voters supported Clinton, 40 percent backed Obama.
In his victory speech, Obama said:
This has been one of the longest, most closely fought contests in history. And that's partly because we have such a formidable opponent in Senator Hillary Clinton. Tonight, many of the pundits have suggested that this party is inalterably divided – that Senator Clinton's supporters will not support me, and that my supporters will not support her.Meanwhile, Clinton doesn't know the meaning of quit:
Well I'm here tonight to tell you that I don't believe it. Yes, there have been bruised feelings on both sides. Yes, each side desperately wants their candidate to win. But ultimately, this race is not about Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama or John McCain. This election is about you – the American people – and whether we will have a president and a party that can lead us toward a brighter future.
Now it is on to West Virginia, Kentucky, Oregon, and the other states where people are eager to have their voices heard. ...With only six contests remaining, neither candidate will have enough pledged delegates to clinch the nomination when the primary season ends on June 3. So the superdelegates will have to make a Solomonic decision about which candidate is more electable.
And I am running to be the President of all of America - north, south, east and west, and everywhere in between. That's why it is so important that we count the votes of Florida and Michigan.
They will have to consider the racial divide. There's also a bitter divide between Clinton's and Obama's supporters. While 70 percent of Obama supporters say they'd pull the lever for Clinton if she's the nominee, half of Clinton supporters say they would not vote for Obama if he's the nominee.
In the coming weeks, there will be renewed calls for Clinton to drop out. But a new Gallup poll found that 60 percent of Democrats want the Clinton-Obama drama to continue.

Blame the Republicans all you want but the Democratic party was never going to ever give him the nomination. And it was not the Republicans who told Bill and Hillary to trash the AA base. We black Republicans and black Independents want to tell you black Democrates to WAKE THE HECK UP! You black Democrats bring a whole new meaning to Uncle Toms.

How can Hillary on video tape be all things to all people. You'll see Hillary clapping hands & stomping her feet in S.Carolina in a African American church.. Hillary in New Hampshire as the feminism candidate.. In Hillary's two term as 1st lady, There was no evidence of the "Beer" gulping woman we seen campaigning in Pennsylvania.. Now we are to believe that the Clintons,The same Clintons who were treated like "doggs with fleas" by the Limbaugh conservative media, Who was supported by the African American democratic voters for two presidential terms, has now abandoned "democratic party racial unity" to PATRONIZE the blue collar white's only vote... virtuality, conviction, morality for this woman is an flawed example for the young people of America. This is not survivor Hillary, wE DON'T NEED THE DECEPTIONS AND BACK STABBING.. shame shame shame on you Hillary..!!! ((really!do you expect/respect Hillary to watch your back)) victim now/mugslinger later..

It is apparent that Hillary is using the race card by talking to white blue collar workers and those who did'nt go to college. She has never mentioned black anywhere in her speeches. Each time she throws a dig at Obama, she says he doesn't have the experience. I don't think she has that many smarts to read minds. I think deep down she thinks she is smarter than Obama, but on the other hand she is telling those whites that Obama is looking down his nose at them and they seem to be buying it. Are those blue collar whites not smart enough to realise what she is saying that they are and she is their savior? She placing those white blue collar workers at the bottom of the pile. Don't they realize that she is belittling them
and making a mockery of them not being well educated ?

Please, please evict Bill Clinton from his office in Harlem, he does not deserve to be there, or at lease show some distain to the Clintons, New Yorkers for his racial remarks. The Clinton's true colors came out during the Clinton Campaign. I guess their philosophy is to win by whatever means possible. Hey Clintons, we read you loud and clear!

Kentucky is not West Virginia! If Obama consedes Kentucky to HIllary he is foolish! Does he not know how many colleges and universites are in Kentucky? I will not vote for Obama and I am an African American but I am Republican and consertive and me and him do not see eye to eye on issues but my white democrate friends love him but I will not allow anyone to compare Kentucky to West Virginia. Kentucky is nothing like her, nothing! So Hillary quit making Kentucky appear to be some uneducated racist state-SHE IS NOT WEST VIRIGINA!
