There's a picture of herself in handcuffs to remember it by.
My prom was not this cool. ...
See, Marche Taylor's golden gown was ruled inappropriate for her senior prom before she even set foot on the dance floor. School prom bouncers told her the skimpy number violated the school dress code. She offered to cover up, but still, no dice.
Then the school officials thought she was rollin' commando (no panties). Taylor, who's 17, corrected them, telling them that it was really none of anybody's business what was under the dress. That's when things got outta hand. Next, the police showed up. (No, not the fashion police.) They handcuffed her and escorted her out.
So, the school has a dress code and she violated it. Case closed? She wouldn't be caught dead wearing this gold two-piece swim suit in algebra class. It's not OK for prom, right?
"I actually like the dress. Everybody else likes my dress," Taylor told CNN.
Yes, honey, you'll be hard pressed to find a horny-hormone ragin' boy at your school who would not like to see you half naked. But I'm sure you are a beautiful young woman fully clothed!
Now, Marche just wants is her money back for her prom ticket.
"They didn't give me any options, but to go to jail or go home."
Prom Dress Arrest
Marche Taylor's prom night ended in a confrontation with school officials and her being escorted out in handcuffs. All because school officials said her dress was inappropriate for the school prom.
CNN
"I actually like the dress. Everybody else likes my dress," Taylor told CNN of her custom-made dress. Madison High School Principal Aubrey Taylor said says the dress was inappropriate and violated the rules of dress code.
CNN
She was told her dress violated a school dress code. Here she is pictured with her friend in the lobby of the prom hotel.
CNN
The high school senior offered to provide more cover, but Taylor was still denied access to the final dance of the school year. At that point, Taylor told CNN she was furious. After all this was her senior prom. She argued if she couldn't get in, she wanted her money back.
CNN
A photographer snapped a photo of Taylor in handcuffs, being led out of the hotel.

I don't think Marche should have been handcuffed and/or arrested. But I definitely think the "loin cloth" was inappropriate for the prom, and the school officials did the right thing by not allowing her to enter. Where were her parents/guardians when she left the house? Where's the "CLASS"?!

Where are her parents? Goodness. That is not a dress that is a swimsuit. There is a time and place for everything. That dress/swimsuit was not appropriate for Prom. Period!

She is a hottttt mess. You have to see her interview on local news. She thought wrapping the train of the dress around her would make a difference and the school would allow her to stay (lol). She honestly did not think nothing was wrong with her dress. When she asked for her money back and was told no she probably was acting crazy so they arrested her. Shame on mom and dad for letting her walk out the house looking like that.

It is a sign of the times, no self respect. Prom is meant to be a classy sophisticated one time event for any Senior. Both the mother/father should be ashamed for such blatant disregard for decency when it comes to their daughter. Again, it's a sign of the time we are in.

I agree with the person that said they need God in their lives!! I was 18 going to my prom and you better know that my parents had every say in what I wore, but the best thing was I listened, my Parents were my Parents and not my friends when it came to such matters. what they said do or wear, that's what I did. Her parents need to be taken to task, if they agreed with this shame on them!! But this is a different generation of young people. I don't think she should have been arrested, but maybe if she had left quietly she would't have been. I pray for the family!

The young lady was aware of the dress code. On our local news (Houston,TX) it was stated that her school advised them what they could or could not wear. If she had questions about he dress, she could have taken the dress to school for prior approval. Additionally, she had the dress made therefore, she could have brought the pattern or drawing to the school before one dollar was spent on the dress. The blame falls on the person who allowed her to leave the house in the dress and the one that funded such a "piece of work." Our kids need guidance, positive role models and prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By the way, she was arrested because she caused such a scene at the prom, ranting about wanting her money back for her ticket since she wasn't allowed to enter the prom. As per the school, she was aware that the tickets were non-refundable.
