Had Malcolm X lived to see this day, I think he would have been disheartened to see one black man - Barack Obama - allow the white media and conservatives of this country to dictate who his friends and associates could be.

Malcolm X would be disheartened that such a black man would denounce a man like Rev. Wright for political expediency.

Malcolm X would know the sad fact that, if he were alive and speaking in the fiery and truthful way that he often spoke about this country during the sixties, that Barack Obama would have no qualms about denouncing and distancing himself from him, too.....

Hey Madison, instead of thinking about what that rapist Malcolm X would think of today's political climate, why don't you ponder these facts: Although blacks are 12% of the population in reality it is just 2% of the blacks that commit 50% of the murders and a greater percentage of other crimes. Consider: black females - 6%. Blacks from zero yrs. to 12 yrs. and black males from 50-100 years commit an infinitesimal percentage of the crimes. Therefore we are left with two percent. If we eliminate crimes committed by this two percent from the U.S. statistics our country compares very favorably with all Western countries. Fact -- blacks kill 7 times more than whites kill. Fact -- blacks kill whites 20 times more than whites kill blacks. Fact -- blacks mug or commit group crime against whites 50 times more than whites commit against blacks. Fact -- blacks rape white women 2000 (yes 2000) times more than whites rape black women. In New York City, about 300 white women are raped by blacks every year BUT there has not been a black woman raped by a white male in anybody’s memory (going back over 20 yrs.) Consider: Al Sharpton had to go upstate New York to find a hoax and that was almost 20 years ago. (Source NYT 4/22/05)

According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics 2004 report (released May 2006), blacks commit 54 percent of the homicides in America even though they constitute only 12 percent of the population.

An individual black male is seven times more likely to commit murder than an individual white male. It so happens that black felons commit 43 percent of aggravated assaults, 66 percent of armed robberies, 27 percent of rapes and 85 percent of interracial crimes of violence, mainly against whites (this last figure from a Justice Department report 2003). However, it's not just in the United States. The greatest dicators in recent years have emerged in Africa. People like Idi Amin of Uganda, Hastings Kamuzu Banda in Malawi, Mobutu Sese Seko, in Zaire, self-anointed Emperor Bokassa of the Central African Republic, Mohammed Saidi Barre in Somalia, Sani Abacha of Nigeria, Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe -- the list is endless.

Blacks are dumber as well, statistics analyzed by the New York Times (July 4, 1999) dispel the poverty argument by establishing that impoverished white children whose parents earn less than $10,000 a year score higher on standardized SAT tests than black children whose parents earn more than $70,000 a year. Also, nearly 70 percent of black children are born out of wedlock.

I have always thought very poorly of Malcolm X. Sixty five years ago my father and his cousins were all in the military defending their country. Malcolm spent the war drugging and chasing women. His biggest concern was who he was sleeping with. He means nothing to me, good riddance.

Have you ever thought about wanting to know about the man Malcolm X (El Hajj Malik El Shabazz)? Probably not. You're probably like every other robot in this country...so quick or quipped, if you will, to follow behind someone else's opinion of someone they know absolutely nothing about. In other words, you're a bandwagoneer. A follower whose "expertise" is based soley on ignorance from other ideologies. Wow, who's more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him? I'm sure you're one of many who claim to be Christian who have no idea what it is to be a Christian or Christian-like. Before you open your mouth once again to say something stupid allow me to explain your programmed judgement. You can't honestly think that JC (oh sorry...Jesus Christ) would fixate his heart, philosophy to orate that any man/woman's time on this earth (past, present or future) is worth of riddence. A Christ follower would accept and love his enemies and that would be it. Go check yourself...fool. So let's not talk about patriotism. Yes Malcolm Little was chasing skirts, hustling, stealing, doing and selling drugs. He got caught, did some time, but found religion. When he came out he was known as Malcolm X. Totally transformed from the latter. A real man who did not stand idly by, non-complacent to the ills of what this country has done (and continues to do) to his people. Incidentally, the transformation continued and was deemed El Hajj Malik El Shabazz. His ideology changed and he was a beacon for the fair treatment for all people whom injustice overshadoed. You know what? Why bother...PICK UP A DAMN BOOK BOY. It's called "The Autobiography of Malcolm X"-Alex Haley...idiot.

To Black Man's Nightmare (ooh I'm scared of this boogeyman...ummm, yeah...whatever): So you think you know your statistics huh. Evidently not while referencing the NYT. My oh my. You've been kidding yourself. How about polling and gathering analyses on your own or referencing the very people that you are judging. Hmm probably afraid to find out the real truth you may find in those comparisons. Oh, such as whites on welfare. There are a whoooooole lot more of y'all on it than us. But your prevailing stereotypical psyche believes the opposite. Take the blue pill, Mr. Anderson and quit living in that world of rose colored glasses. Let's chat.

Myth#1:
Welfare benefits go to minority women who never leave the dole.

THE FACT IS, MORE WHITES RECEIVE aid than blacks or Hispanics. Two out of three welfare recipients are children, not adults. And contrary to the stereotype of families forever dependent, nearly three out of four women receiving aid get off welfare within two years.

"The white women are invisible," says Nancy Lyman-Shaver, a former welfare mother who now runs a criminal-justice program for ARISE, a social welfare organization in Springfield, Massachusetts.

"They are the daughters and nieces of middle-class, suburban families who end up on welfare because of a divorce or an abusive partner.

"Every family I know has someone receiving AFDC, but no one likes to talk about it."

Among the poorest of the poor--single mothers, living below the poverty line with minor children to support 39.7 percent of AFDC clients are Black single mothers and 38.1 percent are White women with children. Food stamp recipients are 37.2 percent Black and 46.2 percent White. Medicaid benefits are paid to 27.5 percent Black recipients compared to 48.5 percent White clients.

Another thing Social Security is the biggest welfare program in the country but "you all" want to call it "retirement". Guess Shakespeare was wrong when he wrote, "A rose by any other name..." you get the picture. Moving on...

Blacks are dumber. Wow once again your comparisons to the most biased of all biases...the SAT or any other standardized assessments. The most underlining myth is that these tests are racists. That they are not but more so, culturally biased than anything. But as usual someone who thinks (loosely translated) as you do, admonishes that race is subjective in this matter. Do you know genetics? If you've ever watched PBS doubt it other than the intellectual brillance of Barney, you would've come across a documentary about mitochondrial DNA that disproves that race is the source of diversity. Actually, you would find that (perrish the thought) you and I would have a closer or relative genetic match than with those within our respective "races". Google it, "Race-The Power of Illusion". I guess if Blacks are dumber, you're the mirrored reflection..."brother". So maybe you should dig a little deeper so that next time you won't open mouth and insert foot. Contrary to popular belief, Malcolm would be proud that men like me exist...deal with it!

GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN….

If Malcolm X were alive today I believe that he would more than likely put the blame on us for our blatant complacency. But, he would also be proud that his sons have held on to finally make this day happen.

Remember, the circumstances of Malcolm's death are rife with the belief that the very organization which first gave him public voice, was also complicit in his untimely demise.

If this is true, or even if it is merely conjecture based on a souring of relations between himself and the Nation's leadership. Then this is conclusive evidence that Malcolm X did not shy away from confronting those within his own house, who were guilty of bringing instability and confusion to that house. A true leader, husband, father and by Plato’s reckoning, a just individual who boldly sought out a just state of existence for his people.

He had imminent knowledge of his impending death, the same as Dr. King did about his own death 3 years later in 1968.

Malcolm would not be silenced because people did not agree with what he had to say. And because of his inner strength, he still speaks to us today and will continue to speak, and echo infinitely through the hollow void of man's inhumanity to man across the coming centuries.

Those who caused his death might have been big men, but the smallness of their deed has relegated them to the dark corner of the unseen and unheard, who might have also passed this way.

In contrast Malcolm X by his example has helped to guide a people on the true course. He was a warrior in every sense of the word. A man to be emulated for his just attributes who respected his cause for living, more than he did his own life. Therefore what they took was not what was most important to him.

Such is the person Jesus was referring to when he said “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” JOHN 15:13

Below are excerpts from a speech by Ossie Davis as he eulogized this great American on February 27, 1965:

“Malcolm had stopped being a Negro years ago. It had become too small, too puny, too weak a word for him. Malcolm was bigger than that. Malcolm had become an Afro-American, and he wanted—so desperately—that we, that all his people, would become Afro-Americans, too.”

“Many will ask what Harlem finds to honor in this stormy, controversial and bold young captain — and we will smile. Many will say turn away — away from this man, for he is not a man but a demon, a monster, a subverter and an enemy of the black man — and we will smile. They will say that he is of hate — a fanatic, a racist — who can only bring evil to the cause for which you struggle!”

“Last year, from Africa, he wrote these words to a friend: “I am writing these things so that you will know for a fact the tremendous sympathy and support we have among the African States for our human rights struggle. The main thing is that we keep a united front wherein our most valuable time and energy will not be wasted fighting each other.”

“And we will know him then for what he was and is—a prince—our own black shining prince!—who didn’t hesitate to die, because he loved us so.”

In my opinion Malcolm X would not be dishearten by Barack Obama denouning Rev. Wright, but he would be dishearten by the actions of African American people today in their day to day life.
