Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were in Florida earlier this week. Looking ahead to the November election, Obama touched down in Hillsborough County along the vote-rich Interstate-4 corridor. Fifteen thousand turned out for a campaign rally in the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa.Obama has his sights set on John McCain:
He has been spending the last week describing his foreign policy by explaining who he won't talk to. That's your foreign policy? He basically wants to perpetuate the same errors George Bush has made.Clinton was in the voting-challenged Broward County, where she looked back at the 2000 election debacle and demanded their votes be counted:
It is well within the Democratic Party rules to take this stand. The rules clearly state that we can count all of these votes and seat all of delegates, pledged and unpledged if we so choose, and the rules laid out make clear the process for doing so.Clinton later told the Associated Press she's prepared to fight all the way to the Denver convention:
We believe the popular vote is the truest expression of your will. We believe it today just as we believed it back in 2000, when right here in Florida, you learned the hard way what happened when the votes aren't counted and a candidate with fewer votes is declared the winner.
Yes I will. I will, because I feel very strongly about this. The Democratic National Committee Rules and Bylaws Committee will meet in DC on May 31. They will vote on whether to seat the Florida and Michigan delegations. And yes, I will be there.
I will consult with Floridians and the voters in Michigan because it's really their voices that are being ignored and their votes that are being discounted, and I'll support whatever the elected officials and the voters in those two states want to do.

I wish that this would be over already!. Clinton agreed as the others that Fle over.orida and Michigan violated the rules and they would have to suffer the consequences. Now that she's losing, she wants to change the rules. Some in Florida were told that Obama would not be on the ballot and many did not even go to the polls. Also in Michigan, Obama's name was not on the ballots. Why can't she just recede gracefully and let this be over. She is about to be "HATED!"

This is ridiculous! The people that have the power do not want a Black man in office period. So they will do whatever they can to cause him to loose. I wish that someone could put the whole situation on blast if there are people really trying to do something underhanded so that Obama will not win. They should learn from their mistakes after changing the rules and allowing Bush to win as President. It not only affects one race, it effects us all!

Well, as for Obama well crafted speech... "You can't get blood our of stone" ..in Cuban we say "No se le puede pedir peras al olmo". He said what he has to say. He never never has put a foot on Cuban soil, so he doen't know... like lots of American....So it's good that he wants to let American to travel freely. Once Americans, the new generation, those I encountered in universities and colleges across the country... visit Cuba an come back, they will say... 'shut, this is not what I've been told constantly..."
Even with his speech, that crazy daughter of a Cuban tirano, Ninoska Perez from Radio Mambi, in Miami, is outcasting Obama... she couldn't help since she left the CANF in disagreement on Cuba. But the good thing, apart from everything is that finally there is a virtual US president that could engage with us, Cubans. We want freedom ... yes freedom from the USA... we don't want to be another Puerto Rico...certainly not... and by the way, we don't hate America or American... ask my students that has visited Cuba.... we hate to be told what to do. Ahhh...don't forget that the very first Cuban president in 1902 WAS IMPOSED BY THE OCCUPATION US ARMY, after the Spanish-Cuban-American war.

Thats what I can't really understand. How people with felonies cannot vote, but still has to pay taxes, and is still a citizen. These immigrants that come into this country, and vote have dead peoples social security numbers, and are able to obtain a voters registraiton card from lawd knows where. Ok he did something wrong now he wants to correct himself by voting,a person willing to vote is not solely based on their pass am I right or wrong?Hell ok cause you robbed a couple of liquor stores got caught ,and charged for it,did your time ,and got out now you are trying to better yourself, you voting for a president is not wrong.I thought it was democracy ,but for people with felonies it is communisim. They have a voice to,they are humans,if a person is living in society, and making it they should have the right to vote, you are working ,and paying your dues to america so why can't you vote? They might as well be labeled slaves

The sad thing with Hillary doing this is that the only thing this is doing is causing more division amongst the democratic party, and may let John McCain win & that's not very patriotic of her, and even If Florida & Michigan count she still won't win unless she wins over 70% of the votes in both states. She know needs to do what's best for her country.

To EXCONVICK #4. That's a shame that you can't vote because of a felony? Does that mean forever? If it is, that's not right? Like Young blacc male #8 said, "you did your time, you pay taxes, and you are a citizen" so why can't you vote? I know, how frustrated you are and this being the most HISTORICAL and CRITICAL ELECTION, this is WRONG! Keep your head up!
To Young blac male, keep telling your good knowledge. You are relating to people your age that don't know or understand? Your Dad taught you right! What people have lack, is KNOWLEDGE! READING IS FUNDAMENTAL! I must say, the "BIBLE" is where we should ALL get KNOWLEDGE. It is the TRUTH! All your information is right there! "God" is are "SOURCE" and the only "SOURCE"! Without him,
WE ARE NOTHING!
I believe that, this is the END for HILLARY! Hillary says, she is going to take it ALL THE WAY to the Convention and drag it out. That is what you called, being very SELFISH! Hillary doesn't care if she BREAKS UP the DEMOCRATIC PARTY! Just because she might not get her way. Hillary's words
"I am a Fighter" is "REAL TIRED" right about now! The Democratic Party and the nominee (Obama), need to prepare for the GENERAL ELECTION against McCain! We all know, who will be the next President, "OBAMA"! "YES WE CAN"!
"OBAMA 2008"
