So FOX News contributer Liz Trotta thought it would be a good idea to joke about the killing of Sen. Barack Obama. Since Hilliary Clinton busted the seal on the idea with the RFK comment, I guess it's fair game to joke about.
But this was not a slip of the tongue, as you can see. We shouldn't let one comment like this slide. Not one. But since it looks like she'll get away with it, please, no more assassination remarks or jokes on national television! ...
And that goes for you too COLBERT REPORT! You're on notice!
"Assassination" jokes about the current president are not politically correct. That's an understatement. It is no different for the next possible leader of our country, Obama.
Listen, Trotta is the former New York bureau chief of The Washington Times. That's a shame. She's a journalist, but not a responsible journalist. And now she's just another idiot like the ones Fox usually puts up there to talk.
The video has been going around for a few days. In all fair and balanced fairness, here's Trott's apology, where she jokes and laughs again? The Mike Huckabee NRA Obama shooting remark was sick enough. It's not funny. It's not a joke.

I thought I would state my opinion on "Black Voices" since no one thought it necessary to create a "White Voices" blog. Who is racist?!! I have news for you sniveling cry babies who love and protect your blessed Barack Obama......shout racism all you want, but your own 50cent made a comment about Obama being killed if he were elected! Obama, Jeremiah Wright and all the rest of you racist need to go back home to your beautiful African paradise if you don't like it here!!!!!

One things for sure...This election is bringing out the opened and closet racist bastards and inbreeds in this country for the world to see (not all folks). Its sad that in all of its supposed greatness, the integrity of most of its backwards citizens continue to erode what little moral center it had. No matter what happens in this race, the minorities will be alright since its business as usual. Trying to make us fearful of anything does not usually work since we have been tested in that area many times over. It would seem the majority should ponder their choice of a president more carefully. They seem to be the ones more easily swayed by fear and "wag the dog" like tactics. You don't like Barrack 'cause he is black?...Fine. We will be alright under McCain since we survived Bush. Question is, can you survive McCain and all that he will bring????

Think about this statement for a moment: people joke about things that really bother them, this man is messing with peoples' whole mind, he is so intelligent they can't stand him. He's the man for this hour and I'm eternally grateful for whosoever is responsible for his being nominated as the next president of the USA.

i wouldn't trust the clintons with being in the white house with obama, neither would i trust obama going to irag. i think there is a conspiracy to harm him, and that themedia is also behind it as well as the clintons and bushes. they are the ones that killed ron brown, to mention one of the many the offed. i never could understand why they have not been investigated. they are liars, not to be trusted. no vote from me if she is nominated. What part of "empty suit" don't you understand? That's B. Hussein Obama...an empty suit with zero qualifications to be "commander-OF-chief." Hillarity Rodham also has NO qualifications to be the president. John McLame...very little experience to be president but at least he understands the threats that are out there and is prepared to deal with it. This is a blog for black people, right? Well, when will you realize that it is and has always been that the democRat party is the party of racism, class warfare and socialism. What party was in power when slavery was abolished? Republican party. Who was the first president to attempt to pass civil rights legislation? Eisenhower - Republican. Without the Republican Party the Civil Rights Act of 1964 dies on the vine. What president interred hundreds of thousands of AMERICANS because of the color of their skin? FDR, the GOD of the democRat party and socialist extraordinaire. My point is that the democRat party has been playing African Americans for suckers for about 50 years now, pretending they will lift you up and give you what you want. Has it happened? No. Why? Because they want to keep you on the plantation, voting for "change & hope" that never comes. How many of you know successful black people? Did they get a handout or did they lift themselves up using the opportunities available to them in a free society?
Wake up! Obama is a false prophet, much like Mohammed was. Your salvation is through yourself, not some jingoistic politician with no better credentials than the guy who reads your gas meter.

One last comment: I don't care if the president is black, blue, green, yellow or a female with thick ankles. I just don't want the president to be a socialist. This country is the last best hope for mankind. Socialism will destroy the economy and the ability for those on the lower rungs of society to have a chance at climbing the economic ladder. The two democRats who are running are just not right for the country, black, white or otherwise.
Now, Michael Steele of Maryland (former Lt. Gov. and conservative African American) is the kind of guy I'd like to see run for president.
