Okay, I'm not sure why it makes news every time presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama wipes the crust from his eyes in the morning, but my guess is that the national news media and idiot pundits from coast to coast fail to realize something about the man: he is a human being. And like most human beings he does quirky things with the person he chooses as his companion when he accomplishes something.
In this case, he and wife Michelle dap each other just before he speaks on gaining all the needed delegates to get the Democratic Party nod. You might of missed it, but if you caught it, it made you smile.
You see, lots of human beings do that with their friends. You know, high fives, shout-outs, slaps on the butt, etc. Up until now, most presidents couldn't do anything like that because they didn't have the rhythm (well, maybe Nixon did). In this case, you have a guy who ain't afraid to say "ain't."
That's what people like about him and his South Side Chicagosista wife. Sorry, you won't find any Preachergate stuff with a simple pound between a husband and wife.
Now back to less important shi* like the economy, terrorism, the Lie in Iraq, the environment, energy problems, the national infrastructure, health care, education, oil prices, the housing crisis ....

I just want to know "WHY", was it mentioned in this blog "Now back to less important shi* like the economy, terrorism, the Lie in Iraq, the environment, energy problems, the national infrastructure, health care, education, oil prices, the housing crisis ...."
Wouldn't all of these problems that we face today is
important! People or Killing, Hurting, and Dying! This is serious! Well, it is very important to me! I don't know if this was an "ERROR" or a "JOKE"? I know, when Obama gets into the White House, there are going to be some MAJOR CHANGES IN THE GOVERNMENT!
"YES WE CAN"!

To Ms. Unique:
Yes it was a joke, in the figurative sense. It's a play on words. Everybody knows that the other issues are more important than Barack and his wife doing a fist pound, but for some odd reason the American people would rather see that than talk about these other issues. The purpose that this blog is trying to make is that people are thinking of Barack Obama as some sort of superhero( which he is in someways) when really at the end of the day, all he wants to do is do a fist bump with his wife..don't be so literal next time.
OBAMA O8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOO!!!!!!

I am very excited about the presidential campaign because in the past I have never even paid attention to it. I had better things that I was doing to uplift myself. I will say this no one man is gonna change the system. Obama might make a splash but it will not have an effect 10 to 12 years from now trust me the government is a well oiled machine that can't be operated by one black man in hopes of liberating black people. Obama is no superhero we will find that out immediately when he gets in office

I love that they are so normal and that they actualy like each other and have chemistry. We need that in the white house. A family that is tight knit, loving, and spouses that are actually true soulmates. I mean I don't know anything personal, but it just makes me happy to see them so, cool.
Plus, when a man is happy at home, he is better able to focus on the VERY important job of running the nation knowing that she has his back.

It made me smile, definitely. It meant, "I got yo back, boo. You go boy!". If I meet either of them, I'd give him/her some dap for making me proud!
