A new magazine about race and ethnicity issues launched this week and the magazine's creator says the Jena Six case inspired her to create the publication.
RiseUp, based in Kansas City, Mo., is expected to reach 4.3 million people, getting inserted in the Washington Post, New York Daily News, St. Louis Post-Dispatch and eight other Sunday newspapers each week.
"I started RiseUp because I wanted to provide a readily accessible tool to help us solve some of the problems we face as a society when it comes to race relations," founder Janice Ellis said. ...
"What struck me most was the Jena Six case and how high-school children were using some of the most hateful symbols in our history in this day and age to hurt one another. That proves that there is a real educational gap around race and what we hold in common," Ellis told Newsweek.
Ellis told Newsweek that the overall goal of the magazine is to celebrate race and ethnicity and help us better understand our differences; to celebrate our commonalities and build a great foundation to bridge the gaps that divide us.

Passing off white-blame and white-hate is what many colleges are doing today. Why do we see this agenda going on-- well, it has nothing to do with this government caring about or loving any person of colour--- they don't give a damn about them or anyone else-- except themselves and the tremendous fortunes they are making in to illegal immigrant business. It's all about money-- they don't care about diversity or human rights-- big business is backing it in colleges and the husslers there keep it up with this white-blame crap-- and these kids parrot the garbage because they want to pass the course, and get in good with the school. What a bunch of weal stupids--
our country is being handed over to big business by these bought legislators-- and the little schools are trying to condition the dumblings that all whites did it too the minorities and caused untold suffering from the beginning of time-- bull-- and that we have to recognize that, and repent and share our resources with our new incoming illegals--
Over 25 million of them have our jobs, now they want financial aid off the feds and the state We've been sold out-- and the blacks and the Indians think in these classes the colleges are trying to set the record-- bull none them care about blacks or Indians or Asians or anyone else-- they're out to make a fortune-- illegals will take less pay, and businesses save billions on not having to pay American workers minimum wage-- and they get dumped-- and all we have is wetbacks taking our jobs, our taxpayer money, and they get federal and state financial aid-- and they get welfare and social services says they won't report them and they get free medical in our hospitals for themselves and their boatloads of kids--
Congress is oh so benevolent in their care and concern for the education of these poor people bull crap-- they are getting alot of money to advance this garbage so big business can make a fortune off of the illegals.
PEOPLE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF IT-- WE MUST STAND UP AND RECLAIM OUR COUNTRY BACK--
aND ALL THE DUMBLINGS SHOULD RECOGNIZE IT'S NOT WHITES IT'S THE U.S.GOVERNMENT WHICH HAS SCREWED US ALL.
