A week ago, FOX News' Bill O'Reilly aired part of a videotape of Rev. Jesse Jackson trashing Barack Obama. O'Reilly said the network "held back some of Jackson's comments because they weren't relevant."There was no holding back the "weasel" who O'Reilly said "leaked it out to the Internet":
Barack ... he's talking down to black people ... telling ni****s how to behave.
Rev. Jesse Jackson
Rev. Jesse Jackson speaks during a news conference in Chicago, Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Jackson apologized Wednesday for comments he made about Barack Obama's speeches in black churches during what he thought was a private.

"It was very private," Jackson said. A spokesman for the Obama campaign said that the Illinois senator accepts Jackson's apology. Jackson's son, however, was less kind. "I'm deeply outraged and disappointed in Reverend Jackson's reckless statements," Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. said. Here, Jackson and Obama share a lighter moment in Illinois last month.
The Rev. Jesse Jackson issued an apology to Obama Wednesday after comments he made about the presidential candidate were picked up on an open microphone. After a Fox News interview on Sunday, Jackson said, "Barack, he's talking down to black people."

With rumors swirling, O'Reilly went on "Studio B" to "get it all out so everyone knows."
Jackson has issued another fulsome apology, this time in a statement from Madrid, where he is traveling:
I am deeply saddened and distressed by the pain and sorrow that I have caused as a result of my hurtful words. I apologize again to Senator Barrack Obama, Michelle Obama, their children as well as to the American public. There really is no justification for my comments and I hope that the Obama family and the American public will forgive me. I also pray that we, as a nation, can move on to address the real issues that affect the American people. For a lot of black folks, Jesse's mess is the issue. They want him to move on. He was nuts to think his use of the N-word would not come out sooner or later. Jackson's rank hypocrisy irredeemably damages the dwindling influence he has in the African American community.
Polls show the racial waters are roiling. Any interjection of race into the presidential campaign dampens Obama's appeal to white voters whose support he needs to win in November.

Jackson should be ashamed and go somewhere and hide, maybe him and Al Sharpton could exile together. Then they could call each other names.

I'm a product of the Civil Rights movement in the 60s. I didn't like Jessie Jackson then and I don't now. I couldn't stand his rhyming and his styling and profiling. To me Jessie was phony and will always be. Fast forward 40 yrs later, he still believes that his opinion counts and he represents black America. I think not and he should go somewhere and shut-up and sit down. By the way how old is that daughter that he has out of wedlock?

Jesse Jackson is JEALOUS of Senator Obama. That's what it's all about. Obama is the right man for the President of the United States. He is highly Intelligent, he is for the people, it has nothing to do with RACE! Obama, is God's choosen one. Why do you think there is an overwhelming of people of all ages, of every creed? He is loved by the people, that is something that Jesse will never have...He cheated on his wife. How can one respect a man like that? He is a flirt, I really never like him or trusted him I saw him in the flesh,You know he's no good....God Bless Senator Obama, and may God keep him safe, from all the demons that are envious! MAY GOD PROTECT HIM AND HIS LOVELY FAMILY ALWAYS......

This has been the third article generated in the media to keep this story alive. I will never condone or justify Jesse Jackson, for his vicious attack against BArack Obama. Jesse Jackson was wrong and should be ashame of himself!!!!
Nevertheless, I have pondered the question of why?
Please allow me to explain further?
It has been one (1) week since Jesse Jackson's demeaning comment. Yet, the media continues to spin this story. On-the-flip-side of this coin! "One week prior to Jesse's offensive remark; Bill Clinton made a disgraceful remark toward Obama. However, Bill Clinton never made a public apology for his offensive gesture???? In addition, Bill's remark received very little media coverage. It is apparently clear that Jesse Jackson has been cleverly used as a scapegoat(Diversion) for Bill Clinton's remark. As longer we talk about Jesse, the quicker we forget about Bill Clinton''s foul remark. Moreover, we completely overlook the fact that no public Apology by the Clinton's have be rendered to Barack Obama.
This is a great political diversion!
I have lost a great deal of respect for Jesse Jackson for many reasons, I would rahter not write about. However, I will not allow Jesse's mishap to divert me off of course, as it relates to this campaign election, because this election is too important. Please let's continue to keep the focus and move on from this topic......
I really would love to see our troops come home!!!!

Bill O'Reilly has always catered his broadcast toward the Republician party for many years. This Black Spin article has described O'reilly perfectly, by labeling him a weasel. We have no idea how much video footage O'reilly processes from that one tape. It really would not surprise me to see O'Reilly spin this video for months to come.
Showing a use of imagination and creativity of one-sided video footage.
O'Reilly will constantly generate clever exploitations for the Republican Party, for the sole purpose of causing political diversion among the Obama supports. The Republican party is banking on African Americans to distroy ourselves by denouncing our leaders.(Rather we except Jesse or not) I am not a Jesse Jackson supporter, but I will except his public apology and forgive Jesse Jackson. (Not for Jesse, but for myself)... It's time for healing!!!
I refuse to give Bill O'Reilly; that type of power!
I definately have my personal opinions on the Subject of Jesse Jackson. However, those opinions shall remain burried with God's help. Forgiveness is good for the heart. I myself have made many mistakes; "BIG MISTAKES!"
"I truly believe one does not become wise until they have regrets."
In closing, I would just like to remind all readers again. Don't be shooked to heard more political spin surface from the Bill O'reilly video clip. Please keep in mind: "Their had to be two sides of Jesse's conversation. Doesn't it appear rather strange that we only heard Jesse's remark?"
Political diversion....

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have never shared the reality of what Black America is about, They are always grandstanding, to the point of not being familiar about the facts of events they try to get the masses of Afician American infuriated about, so that they can sit in backrooms and get money for themselves and their so called NEGRO organizations that are supposed to help us overcome. People get REAL.

Hello Poster # 18 John J Bryant Sr.
Their are many African Americans like yourself, who do not like The Rev. Al Sharpton. I respectfully disagree with your viewpoint.
I live within the New York area. For the past 2 decades, Al Sharpton continues to be a big brother always watching!" I have personally witnessed nummerous ocassions, where Al Sharpton have raised revenue for the poor. Raising finances for the sole purpose of paying their outstanding legal debts. In addition, providing the best legal counsel for poor and middle-class citizens. People whom otherwise would never be able to afford legal fees. "God willing; I never need legal help!" However, If I did? "Al Sharpton would be the first person I would ask for help. Al Sharpton knows how to achevieve national attention needed to overcome many leagal dilemmas. I was proud to see Al Sharpton along with other strong African American males, stand up and demand justice for Shawn Bell. (Shot over fifty times on the eve of his wedding day)
There is no comparision between Barack Obama and Al Sharpton. Barack Obama is not an Civil Rights Activist! Obama is a Presidential Candidate. One who represents all of America and I hard heartly support Barack and truly wish him the very best. Al Sharpton, is a civil Rights Activist. A person who holds the line and stands between the gap for equality....
People can say what they want about The Rev. Al Sharpton, But Al gets the job done...
