Presumptive Democratic nominee, Senator Barack Obama, experienced a backlash during one of his speeches today when he was heckled at a town hall meeting in St. Petersburg, Florida by a group of young black men.Actually, let me rephrase that because I think "heckled" is a strong word. Rather, The men held up a sign saying, "What about the black community Obama?" to get his attention. Then, the crowd began chanting in unison, which gained them an aknowledgement from him. Obama maintained his composure throughout the meeting and calmly answered their questions after his speech.
You may be wondering what questions the men had for the first viable African American presidential candidate. Well, they asked about Jena 6, Sean Bell, and other racial incidents over the past two years about which Obama quickly and eloquently responded.
Now, I am not to going to hype up this incident anymore than CNN and other mainstream media have managed to do. The truth of the matter is that presidential candidates get heckled ALL THE TIME. What I will say is that I think the media is playing this one up especially because it is a case of black men rising up to harass another black man, especially this particular black man.
The incident does give me a bit of pause. I think we, as Black Americans need to realize that Barack Obama is not the PANACEA for black people nor is he able to answer for years of oppression and injustice we have faced.
As president, he will not only have to focus on race relations in this country but he has to fix the jacked-up U.S. economy, and work on mending fences in the Middle East.
We, as black folk, won't be able to have him on speed dial whenever something goes wrong in our neighborhoods.
He will be a busy man, just as past presidents have been. What we can hope for is that he gives us a ring every once in a while, which is more than we have gotten during the last eight years of George W. Bush.

I MEAN ...HE STUTTERED TOOO MUCH AND WHATS UP WITH CONTROVERSIALIZING THIS QUESTION?
AND WHO IT IS DELIVERED BY, ANYONE COULD HAVE STOOD UP AND ASKED, BUT SINCE NOT
IT WAS A MUCH YOUNGER BLACK MALE ..AND LOOK AT WHOS HOLDING THE MICROPHONE. HOLD ON ..I CAN ANSWER THAT...DID HE SAY THAT? SHOULDNT HE BE PREPARED FOR THIS? WE HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE IN THIS DAY AND AGE AND VOTE FOR SOMEONE WHO IS GOING TO ENABLE US AND NOT CENSOR OUR CHOICE OF WORDS AS WELL? HECKLE AND jECKLE WHY IS ASKING THIS QUESTION HECKLING? AND THEN WHEN EVERYBODY STARTS CHEERING HIS ANSWER IT IS NOT HECKLING THE PERSON ASKING THE QUESTION..
WAS IT INTIMIDATION? HE WAS PREPARED WITH THE BANNER ..WHY DOES EVERY BODY ELSE HAVE TO BE INVOLVED WHEN ASKING A QUESTION BASED ON THE EXPERIENCES OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY?
YOU CAN JUST APPLY FOR A JOB AN CHECK ANY BOX WHEN IT COMES TO RACE, YOU CAN CHECK OTHER, N/A CHOSE NOT TO ANSWER..BUT YOU CANT CHECK EVERY BOX

Obama is for the rich and house Negroes, he has never did or said anything about the Hell that the majority of Blacks are living in. Obama went to Israel, he pledged his support for the Jewish people, the immigrants and the rich. Obama is against reparations, he is not a descendant of the cruel system of slavery. Obama boasts of being half white but our people get his butt to kiss.
If we just wanted a black for president why not vote Michael Jackson for president. Obama has all white advisors around him and a couple of Uncle Toms. Anarchy is better than Obama or McCain.

Sen. Obama still reeling from his clash with black youths at the recent St. Petersburg Town Hall Meeting has declined to appear at a Town Hall Meeting in New Orleans. Lately, Sen. Obama is being taken to task by black community activists and a rising number of black Americans disappointed in Sen. Obama's showing of being unconfortable in dealing with issues concerning African Americans. When an articulate black youth leader confronted Sen. Obama at Giggs High School in St. Petersburg, Florida on August 1, 2008 at a Town Hall Meeting Sen. Obama was visibally shaken and could only respond to the pointed question about his being missing in action on black issues with stuttering and a rambling answer. It seems the Obama handlers will not allow their prize candidate to loose further national prestige by being dressed down by black New Orleans residents still suffering from the catastrophe of Hurricane Katrina. As the Obama hysteria begans to loose its luster Sen. Obama is revealing himseld to be more and more the opportunistic candidate for the presidency. Many black Americans see a golden opportunity for Sen. Obama to become America's first black president, but the question is that should he win will he be a president black Americans can be proud of or will he be the all to familiar Uncle Tom that liberal white voters would indorse? As more and more blacks clear their head from the Obama hysteria and began to consider the blatant flaws in dignity and character that surround Sen. Obama it is difficult to conceive as to how he can survive large scale black rejection in the face of a tight election.
