Rush Limbaugh thinks Barack Obama's historic march toward the White House is nothing but a nasty case of affirmative action because nobody has "the guts to stand up and say no to a black guy."It's been a while since we've heard an ignorant racist remark out of Rush. As least two weeks. They say he's been busy bashing his buddy John McCain.
According to Media Matters, Rush Limbaugh said that "it is striking how unqualified [Sen. Barack] Obama is and, and how this whole thing came about with, within the Democrat Party. I think it really goes back to the fact that nobody had the guts to stand up and say no to a black guy." Limbaugh went on to say: "I think this is a classic illustration here where affirmative action has reared its ugly head against them. ...
The truth is, no one has had the guts to really stand up to this loud-mouth pill-popper in his decades of racist right-wing radio reign. ...
We all know Rush is just way too high on happy pills to remember that just a few months ago half the "liberal democrats" he likes to moan about wanted Hillary Clinton to be taking the nominations next week in Denver. At that time, the argument was nobody has "the guts to stand up and say no to a woman in a pants suit."
Clinton supporters weren't they afraid of this "black boogie man" BS that Rush is talking about.
So what is he talking about?
Over the years (and in this election cycle alone), Rush has made countless racist comments that have never been met with Don Imus consequences. Why?
Well, some have tried. Remember the Donovan McNabb remark that got him canned from ESPN? Or what about that mess he said about Michael J. Fox faking Parkinson's, a slap on the wrist for that!
Not to mention his offensive trashing of Latinos and Mexicans in the US.
Long before many thought Obama had a chance at the White House last summer Limbaugh was singing about "Barack the Magic Negro." Limbaugh was certain Obama's campaign would not make it to the primaries.
Obama was the one who was not afraid to stand up to his detractors all throwing out the same lines about his race being the reason for his candidacy, from Rush to Fox News to Geraldine Ferrero.
But who will stand up to Rush Limbaugh, or as Paris Hilton would say, "the wrinkly white-haired dude?"

I think that it's about time for all rational thinking black people to stand up and put Rush Limbaugh in his place. Why is he labeled as a "Right-Wing Conservative" when he should be labeled as a Racist Bigot? Freedom of speech is one thing, but the __it that he spews is trash that fuels the minds of confused/ignorant white people with hatred.

Peace,
Unless, and until we use our radio/tv/IT broadcasting mediums to provide serious alternatives to Rush Limbaugh and his kind, then we will continue to have to listen to EIB and their offspring. What is happening now is that in order to get black people (young) to listen to or look at your programs, you need a lot of music or music videos and then use that as a lead in to the talk/discussion format. We need to change our priorities and behaviour so that when we respond to issues we include our youth in serious discussions. When we empower them, then, they will respond accordingly. How do you combat entities like those who support Rush Limbaugh? You compete !!! Do we have the resources and the knowhow to do this? Of course we do. Is there a profit to be made with this format? Good question. What it boils down to is this: Only when we begin to choose our own mediums and underwrite them financially, will we be able to respond to the blatant "race baiting" tactics of the right-wing conservative media pundits. Do we want to expend our resources to do this? Another good question. We must re-organize our priorities and rebuild our communities to effectively address these issues and positively impact our communities and our youth.

Rush is a big joke. For years the white control Media have allowed him and others like him keep the racists alive and destroying our country with their haltered. What really makes me see red is the fact that regardless of what type of education they may have, they come across as red neck KKK hill bullies.
They get air time to keep feeding on weak people who take their unsubstantial words at face value.
What it really boils down too is they are losers who will never achieve anything in life and so they try to destroy the ones that are educated and have dignity and morals.
Rush knows that John Mc Cain and his drug addict wife are both not fit to wipe Senator Obama's shoes and so now he has the nerve to try to use affirmative action.
Yes, we have many racists people that are many colors. But there are so many white people that have jobs that they are not qualify to have, perfect example, the News Casters on ABC/CBS/NBC/Fox.
Look at what shape our country is in. We have had white Presidents for years. Most of your States are run by white people. Most of your business is own by White people.
So it looks like to me that affirmative actions is not the problem.

I never watched Limbaugh, but I hear people talking about him. People like him should be ignored--don't watch him and let his ratings fall. He had a heart attack not too long ago. Can we pray for another one, or would that be unChristian of me?
God forgive me, but that's how I feel.

Lush Rimbaugh likely doesn't know what he's saying himself. We know that he's taking a powerful narcotic. He's nothing but a druggie who doesn't deserve to be acknowledged. That statement he made about affirmative action is one of the dumbest I've heard in quite some time. Affirmative action and voting now go hand and hand? I was under the impression that Barack Obama got into the senate by being voted in. We know that he won the nomination to run for president. He was not given the nomination because of race as that fat dummy implies but received the greatest number of votes to win it. They all seem to be running scared; and they are attempting to instill fear in others as a way to defeat barack Obama.
There are some blacks that actually listen to that big blob of useless flesh. I accidentally landed on the station that broadcasts his program and listened only briefly. His slapping his hands on the table or something was extremely annoying. This country is loaded with racists like him.

Who is more qualified, the wringled face white haired dude that can't even read?
John Mccane is an old unsophisticated, low IQ white man. People really think that he is more qualified than an analytical Harvard Grad. simply based on color?
ONLY IN AMERICA! God help us!
As for limbaugh, "forgattaboutit!" The guy is a crack head

He called Obama a "little black man child".
It's far beyond the time to stop tolerating this bigot.
We need to have round the clock demonstrations against his employer, Clear Channel. Contact his sponsors today, and tell them you don't buy racism; for starters there is Lifelock, Quicken Loans, Carbonite, Allen Brothers Steakhouse, Finck Cigar, and of course, Fox news.
