Rush Limbaugh thinks Barack Obama's historic march toward the White House is nothing but a nasty case of affirmative action because nobody has "the guts to stand up and say no to a black guy."It's been a while since we've heard an ignorant racist remark out of Rush. As least two weeks. They say he's been busy bashing his buddy John McCain.
According to Media Matters, Rush Limbaugh said that "it is striking how unqualified [Sen. Barack] Obama is and, and how this whole thing came about with, within the Democrat Party. I think it really goes back to the fact that nobody had the guts to stand up and say no to a black guy." Limbaugh went on to say: "I think this is a classic illustration here where affirmative action has reared its ugly head against them. ...
The truth is, no one has had the guts to really stand up to this loud-mouth pill-popper in his decades of racist right-wing radio reign. ...
We all know Rush is just way too high on happy pills to remember that just a few months ago half the "liberal democrats" he likes to moan about wanted Hillary Clinton to be taking the nominations next week in Denver. At that time, the argument was nobody has "the guts to stand up and say no to a woman in a pants suit."
Clinton supporters weren't they afraid of this "black boogie man" BS that Rush is talking about.
So what is he talking about?
Over the years (and in this election cycle alone), Rush has made countless racist comments that have never been met with Don Imus consequences. Why?
Well, some have tried. Remember the Donovan McNabb remark that got him canned from ESPN? Or what about that mess he said about Michael J. Fox faking Parkinson's, a slap on the wrist for that!
Not to mention his offensive trashing of Latinos and Mexicans in the US.
Long before many thought Obama had a chance at the White House last summer Limbaugh was singing about "Barack the Magic Negro." Limbaugh was certain Obama's campaign would not make it to the primaries.
Obama was the one who was not afraid to stand up to his detractors all throwing out the same lines about his race being the reason for his candidacy, from Rush to Fox News to Geraldine Ferrero.
But who will stand up to Rush Limbaugh, or as Paris Hilton would say, "the wrinkly white-haired dude?"

Rush Limbaugh is an angry, hate mongering, bigoted, filthy rich, pain in the ass. His kind of radio would not be tolerated in most democratic nations because it is not free speech but speech meant to whip up the hate and animosity, of the mindless 'good ol' boys'. People who see nothing wrong with walking into a peaceful church and opening fire on unarmed citizens, because they thought differently than he did. This is the same speech as many zealots in history such as Hitler, and Bin Lauden, and we all know why they spewed their rabid hate filled garbage. To instill fear in those that opposed their tyranny. Folks it is time to boycott this man's sponsors and let the radio stations know you refuse to listen to anything on their station until this man and his legions of want-a-be's are closed down for good. Sometimes the only way to get the attention for a problem is to hit them in the wallet.

Rush should be praising Obama for president because it will give him something to bitch about for the next four to eight years like he did with Bill Clinton. It was Clinton that brought Rush fame and fortune. Otherwise, he's just a talking head that stopped making sense a long time ago.

I listen to Rush. Unabashedly Conservative. Deep south transport.
My Opine.
1. Mr. Obama's skin tone has nada to do with his qualifications to be President.
2. Mr. Obama's education, experience, basic management skills and political experience has EVERYTHING to do with his qualifications to be President.
In a review of Mr. Obama's list of quals, there are significant holes. We need to be aware of these. These skill holes are the ones, ANY President needs at 3.AM when the General Quarters alarm rings.
As to Rush L's comments, if one follows him closely, and this take some doing, as he tends to drift off subject, one can glean a lot of good data from his talks. Sift the obvious listener stabs, which are designed to get our attention, and follow his line of reasoning. You can go from his talk to the data and Lo and Behold the curtain on most of the BS is lifted.
I seriously would reccommend, listen, review, comment to him and watch his predicted trends. Remarkably, he is mostly dead on.

An added comment. One of the First issues that the next Left President will deal with, is the Equal Information Proposal. Note that a simple executive order, can impose this. Review the details. It is literally the end of the First Amendment, and our Bill of Rights.

I flipped on the Limbaugh show today for the first time in a long while just wanting to hear what he might have to say about the new Democratic ticket. I listened long enough to hear him speak with a caller on the subject of Mrs. Obama's speech and her story of their drive home from the hospital with their newborn daughter. His comments were vile, irreverent, juvenile, and totally repugnant. It is indeed a shame that so many in this country listen to this kind of garbage and find it even remotely humorous. It is nothing more than revolting, immature, and sleazy radio with only one purpose - attracting listeners with shock value. I can't imagine how this "person" sleeps at night after spouting his poisonous, self-serving rants. Oh, that's right, he's getting paid 400 million over the next few years because the "dittoheads" tune in every day. If this is what the conservatives "respect" then all Americans have good reason to want them out of the White House.
One word - Shameful.

I do not listen to Rush and think he is flatuant. But, for some reason I feel it is true. There are many things that are in Obamas past and need to come out. I've emailed TV stations, contact papers and even emailed political parties with questions to Obamas past, not one response, out of dozens. Does the media know and is scared it might become a racist agenda or are they scared of being targeted, in losing viewers, customers, advertisers. Something just does not seem right.

I won't call Rush Racist, but I will say that he has definately influenced and motivated quite a few who are.It would not surprise me one bit if he and others like him get their way and the "never do wrong" superior folk can continue to keep the inferior and subserviant folk in our proper places namely, the source of their entertainment and the butt of their subtle jokes and media promoted commentary which MAY not may not make them racist. But does carry every overtone of racism.
