Coincidently, while the Republicans were wrapping up their nominating convention on every other TV channel, Bill-O's long-awaited interview with Barack opened with a bang on Fox News.
Out of the gate, the 'No Spin Zone' host launched the question on the minds of all Americans, especially the Americans wearing the 10-gallon cowboy hats at the Republican convention all this week.
When in the hell are we going to bomb Iran?
Wait! Bomb Iran? No so fast Bill. ...
Now, O'Reilly was suggesting a hypothetical bombing, of course, not one that kills people, not one based on supposed or "hypothetical" WMDs.
"I'm going to assume that Iran's going to say, 'blank' you, we're going to do what we want. And I want a president, whether it's you or McCain, who says, you ain't doing that," O'Reilly said.
The Father of the Factor was desperate to get Obama on tape admitting he flip-flopped on his not supporting a surge of troops in Iraq, a move that has apparently being hailed as a successful strategy in a war that should have never been fought.
The problem was, Bill couldn't shut up or avoid interrupting Obama's answers for thirty seconds.
"I think you should admit it to the nation (the O'Reilly nation, that is) that now we have defeated the terrorists in Iraq. ... We've also inhibited Iran from controlling the southern part of Iraq by the surge which you did not support. So why won't you say, I was right in the beginning, I was wrong about that (the surge)? O'Reilly was practically BEGGING Obama to break down!
Obama did not fall into his trap of admitting to something he did not need to admit to. Only a pinhead would do that!
"We gotta have the ability to distinguish between these groups," Obama told O'Reilly. "The war in Iraq is a good example where I believe the administration lumped together Saddam Hussein, a terrible guy, with al Qaeda which had nothing to do with Saddam Hussein."
And McCain's folks who make his campaign advertisements are furious about Obama actually answering O'Reilly's questions. They expected at least some good B-roll of him getting "out foxed."
This is only round one, and in typical Factor fashion, the Fox patriarch sent the interview to the chop shop, splicing it into four pieces so you watch his show on Monday, Tuesday , Wednesday and every day of the week.
Not unlike the way he milked the Rev. Jesse Jackson's "nuts" comments and broke it into 13 episodes.
"Provocative!" That's what the rest of this interview is going to be, O'Reilly says. Bill-O is expected to touch on, among other things, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Bill-O will no doubt ask what it is like to be a "hypothetical" Muslim. Maybe he'll even sneak in a "terrorist fist bump."

To Stacey M.
Starting from you last notion that the "Home Land" only relates to blacks, you need to be educated to the new foundings that even you had a founding ancestry-wise to the land of Africa. Also, in your comparison to loyalty, you need to know that in spite of all African based blacks to this county struggled; was persecuted, hanged, killed and has been treated with total disregard to the God given rights of liberty and freedom - the Blacks always arose to the higher ground of Love; even for "your enemies and those who persecute you", for aid; caring for those unworthy, because of past deeds but knowing all along that the strong must carry the weak.
what greater thing do you require than our Creator? Peraonnally, I love to hear this man Obama speak so eloquently. I try to look past that which I might not understand initially and realize the simplicity of what he says in laymans terms. I suggest you so the same for there is truly depth in his words. Mccain has performed admirably for our contry; but so has so, so many others. If he stood next to those others, in some comparisons,he would pale by what has been afforded to some in this true American, God centered country of which you attribute this sole soul. As to your other comments I will not respond as they are so trivial and really point to your level maturity.
Grow up, think constructively, research if necessary, then go with your conviction. And if you don't see a need for a Black voice page, don't visit.

Bill O'Reilly Rules??? Please, Bill O'Reiily's a racist, poumpous, arrogant A-hole. Bill O'Reilly is as racist as the news orginization that employs him. I didn't blame Obama for not talking. I bet you KKK...I mean Fox News lost a lot of ratings then. Good job, Obama. Do an interview with a real news network like CNN, NBC, or BET.

In this world today, I am still amazed at the racism. I do not support all of Obama's issues nor do I support all of McCain's. I was all ready to vote for Mr. McCain until he got that loony Sarah Palin out of who knows where to be his VP. I have listened to her and she has made so many blunders, and it very well could be that she would the Pres. if something happens to Mr. McCain. To me, that is a scary thought for our country which is in so much turmoil. Palin cannot hardly answer specifically. She is the one person that scares me the most about this election to think that Hillary did not make the nomination for president with all her knowledge and strength and intelligence, yet people are okay with Palin as VP, potentially could be the pres if something happened to Mr. McCain. There is no comparison. Im not a big fan of Hillary but she is one tough, intelligent lady. To be honest, I don't trust politicians and what goes on beyond the scenes but I have a lot of disagreement with both presidential candidates and it's going to be a hard decision who to vote for. Anyone can see why Mr. McCain wants Palin for his VP. He wants to try to get votes that would have gone to Hillary. I really don't care what color our president is. I am a Caucasian female and I remember what my parents taught me about race, religion, etc. . They taught me to that I was no better than anyone else or vice versa. Yes, there are some that do good and some that do NOTHING good. However, the same applies to all races. God created all men to be equal. No, I am not a religious fanatic. But I do have my beliefs that were taught by my parents. It's hard to go against any of my beliefs; in fact, it is wrong to go against your beliefs. So this election is very important this year and I have done some soul searching. Having said that, I have lost a lot of faith in our government and what it SHOULD stand for and the mess with the Wallstreet "bailout" and I refuse to think of it as anything else. America has become a world of materialism and lies and deceit.

If people are offended at this site, why come here? I sure am not offended at all. Everyone has a right to voice, black, white , etc. I am white and I am not offended. I found this by accident and started reading it.
As far as Bill O'Reilly goes, he is arrogant and I don't like to watch him. He invites people to his show and never lets them talk. Yes he also has a right to opinion, but let the other person speak his/hers.
And Ms. Fisher please explain how corrupt our government is and the things that have gone on over the last 8 years. It's not just Obama, it's the govenment as a whole. Mr. Cheney's company Haliburton is involved in reconstructing Iraq. Do you seriously think that Mr. Obama is the only person corrupt. If you do, then I suggest you take a better look at what has happened to our country before Mr. Obama came on the scene!!!!

To all of you who were in favor us going into Iraq knowing that there were no WMD's, and who voted to elect George W. Bush for not 1 but 2 terms. What do you idiots have to say for yourselves now?
I see comments on here trashing Obama who we all know is a very well educated man and has the respect of leaders from overseas.
No disrepect to McCain but being a POW doesn't automatically qualify you for being a president in my opinion nor does it make him great at being a leader!
This just goes to show you how uninformed the general American public is about political issues and how easy they are to believe in BS!
You have to be an idiot to elect the same guy for 2 terms that did nothing but get us into a big mess, and spent billions in the process and landed our economy in the shape it's in now! nuff said!

A critical part of bringing change in times of potential war or actual war is for interviewers of the President Obama such as Bill O'Rielly to ask salient questions that get at the change agent issues of: where, if at all, is our country bailing-out (total avoidance) of bringing needed change, where is our country, if at all, resisting (pulling back) what brings needed change, where, if at all is our country, making (confronting and implementing) the needed change. Mr. O'Rielly's questions in the first part of the interview that I watched on this U-Tube met my expectations. I missed the cable showing of the interview(s). Mr. O'Rielly has a good - strong interview style and has to be careful of when pushing for a direct answer (which I appreciate) he doesnot cut off the respondent's too soon because of his tendency to push for truth and directness. I am glad that President Obama agreed for an interview with Mr. O' Rielly and hope I can capture the replays in some form. Thanks for helping the USA I believe you both love our country.
