In this video, Darlene Stewart of Detroit brings you the Obama Hustle, created by Crystal Smith and performed by Seniors United of the Grenadier Lounge. This hustle was created by and for seniors, but it's definitely hot -- as Stewart claims it is -- and a great dance for people of all ages. When Obama wins, will you be doing this hustle?
But as my co-worker and partner in crime, Brennan Williams, reminds me, dancing is not enough. Regardless of whether you do this dance, it won't mean a thang if you don't vote! So be sure to register, and encourage all your hustle companions to join you at the voting booth.

Do not use the link for voter registration provided by aol.
After over all assesment of aol's campaign coverage, aol has been found to biased and unfavorable to Senator Obama.
If you have already registered via aol, make sure you are confirmed as a registered voter.
Republicans in the past have pulled voter registration scams to steal elections.
Below is a link describing a scam in the 2004 election.

Having been from the generation/ era/ years/ where blacks were treated as inferior, I am totally disgusted with the comment from the representative of blacks against Obama. I respect there opinion but at this time all blacks should be rejoicing and doing the Obama Hustle just for us being on the ballot and on the WINNING SIDE. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

OH YEAH, I'LL DO THE OBAMA HUSTLE, WIN OR LOSE, I HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO DO IT FIRST THOUGH. OBAMA HAS GIVEN A LOT OF PEOPLE A REASON TO BE HOPEFUL, MY DAUGHTER AND I ARE SO PROUD OF THIS MAN, HE GIVES YOU A REASON TO BELIEVE, AND HE IS A WONDERFUL PERSON. OBAMA, YOU ARE A WINNER NO MATTER WHAT THE FINAL OUTCOME. YES WE CAN. OR SHOULD I SAY, YES WE WILL.

Corrine in your Blog #34 apparently you state that because Obama says he is black how can I as a black person not support him. Normally, I would not even bother to reply to someone with of your way of thinking. Unfortunately, many black females think with their vagina rather than their brain. I wonder do you support Clarence Thomas? I have no doubt about him being a black American. By your logic because Clarence Thomas is black than all black Americans should support him. I will venture the guess that you do not support Clarence Thomas or even hold him in hign regard. If my guess holds true than why do you find my rejection of Obama completely uncomprehensible. In Chicago Obama is known to many blacks as an explortation slum lord. Tell me why do you suppose Obama will address black issures only after he is elected president. He stabbed the great black elder Dr. Wright in the back after Dr. Wright literally adopted him into the black American family and helped him establish a foot hold in the black community. Obama made a blanket condemnation of black fathers in his Father's Day sermon calling us "boys" something that no white politician in this day and age would do in his right mind. Obama disrespected white blue collar workers and immediatlely apologized to them. Essentially, he has said to hell with the black. Nobody talks down to me and nobody disrespects me and expects me to support them. My sense of dignity and self respect keeps me from doing that. Lastly, I do not live my life thinking what white people may feel about me. I respect decent white people and they respect me. I am completely comfortable living in a black neighborhood. I went to black segregated public schools. I graduated from a black university and I graduated from a black law school. My question to you is if you have such comtempt for all white people how do you expect white people to elect Obama president? Thankfully, I have better respect for decent white people than you do. I just have none for that elitist opportunistic two bit politician Obama.

I tell you.... its clear that racism is alive and well in Amerikkka. Dont certain people have enough blog sites to rant and rave their negative opinions about Obama than to be on Black Voices preaching their hatred. It appears to me that they cannot tolerate a positive conversation without interjecting their negative nonsense.
We have endured hundreds of years of oppression. We have been whipped, hanged, and raped. Our identities were stolen ,our families were broken apart. We were not allowed to educate ourselves or even have a voice. The list goes on and on. We finally have a chance to right a wrong. We have an opportunity to place someone in office that represent "US"...the people, and all you hear is Obama is "this" or "that". We have given everyone else in history a chance to make a change...why not him? I dont think peole go down this road blindly. We deserve the right to pick a candidate that we feel strongly about...why not him? Our choice should be as respected as their choice. If you feel McCain is the right choice... lift him up on your sites. We dont need or deserve to hear your negative or derogatory opinions. At the end of the day, we choose for ourselves.
Thanks for your ranting and raving, but you do not represent me and for that matter... you definetly dont represent "US".
As always.. "IGNORANCE IS BLISS"

Obama has done great things for many people of this country, he has given them a reason to realize you can be anybody you want to be, first you hear that he's not tough enough, then you hear, he's too cool. Now, why is it that no matter what John McCain and his campaign come up with, it seems okay for the average American person, but if Obama makes one blunder, all hell breaks loose.
John McCain continues to lie every chance he gets, and he gotten real good at it. He is even becomming so believeable that now we can see that he's really good at lying. People need to step up and give Obama a chance just like they have given all these white people for all these years. Obama may not be as good as people want him to be, but don't forget, he can't be as bad as what we've had in all these years. We need to stop being stuck on stupid, and at least help this man get elected. I believe he will do the very best job he can for all people. We as black people need to understand that we live in the USA, and Obama needs to be about all the people living in this country and abroad. He can't just support the black community while all the others are suffering, that wouldn't make a lot sense. You see, John McCain is going to do just that, he's going to look out for the wealthy and forget about these poor loyal people. Just watch him, John McCain is so rich that he has 13 cars and 7 homes. Obama on the other hand, has 1 car and 1 house. What makes anybody with a brain think for one minute that John McCain could care anything about these poor lost individuals. He's always had, so he wouldn't understand a thing about being poor or less fortunate.
Just in today we hear that John McCain's campaign manager accepted a $15,000 check from Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac every month until last month for doing absolutely nothing. This is nothing but a joke, and the jokes on the Republican party. I've said many times before, that John McCain would self destruct and it's starting to look that way.

The question is will you do the Obama hustle, not will you bash Obama every chance you get. This is not the place or time to belittle anybody, especially a man who has educated himself, graduated from a fine unversity, raised a decent family, help the poor and continues to stand tall even after all the threats made against him, all the name calling, and the list goes on. We need to understand that it's more to a man than what we hear from John McCain, he has no issue to talk about on the economy, of course he thinks the economy is fundamentally good. What is that about, could it be he is out of touch and out of his mind. I hope the American people get it right this time around.

Not only will I do the Obama hustle, I'll be standing on the ceiling. All jokes aside, I wish Obama well each and every day. This man has his work cut out for him because as we can see, there are a lot of people who are misinformed and they really don't know what they are talking about. I have every reason to want vote for Obama, for one he is the best candidate for the job and two he's smart and remembers what he says unlike John McCain, three he's not an old man and he's not senile like McCain. Four I believe he is truly going to try and get this country back on track, unlike the republican party. Five, he didn't select a woman just to prove that he can become president, only this old man McCain would try to do something dumb like that. The McCain/Palin ticket is what you call dumb and dumber.

I stumbled accross this Black voices by accident. I was just looking at political links and this popped up. So America On Line has a racist side after all?
A complete section of the internet that exclusively caters to one race? It caters to one canadate because of his skin color matching that of intended audience?
What would happen if AOL had a "White Voices" area where we all got together and talked about weather or not we would "Do the Twist" for McCain?
This is rediculous. In 2008 to have such blatent racism. Shame on AOL. I am now going back to the NON racist side of AOL.
