That is why McCain wanted to postpone the debate. He clearly is a redneck, and was not debate ready. HELL; he can't even look a black man in the face. Next is Palin, As I write they are preparing her for her debate. We know she will be mincemeat after 'cause she doesn't have a clue. I hope that will be enough for all democrats to get off their rusty, dusty and vote. McCain even looks scary, IS THIS THE KIND OF REDNECK, 2FACE, BUSH ASS KISSER YOU WANT TO KEEP? pleeeeeeeeeeeeeASE AMERICA DON'T LET THIS MO' FO IN OFFICE. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE OBAMA '08

It was a real snore. Haggling about "tactics" vs. "stategies" while we're all wondering if we're going to have five bucks left after paying our bills this month?
McCain was surly, and I was mad at Obama for always signing "John is right." On the other hand, the important thing is we got to really see the two men. McCain is no "consensus builder." He was so patronizing, which is laughable since Obama is the real intellect here. The most typical comment I've read on blogs is that McCain was sneering and never once looked at Obama, while Obama talked to him human to human. The debate will win over women to Obama. He clearly won the debate, yet I have to admit, both of them skirted around answering the questions. The questions were dumb: What would you cut from the budget? How should they know at this point? McCain lied about Kissinger, who is on record as saying he would talk to hostile leaders without prearranged conditions. Obama is a statesman, McCain a soldier. We need a statesman for president. Obama/Biden 2008. Get everyone to vote, please!

Just like teachers ..Experience and YEARS means NOTHING!! ... i knew teacher Cleary has moderen skills & new techniques to manage her classrtoom ... after about 15-20 years .. we believe teachers are so set in their ways they dont see someone else veiews on change!!
i believe this is the case with mccain as well years MEANS NOTHING compared to Baraks FIRE, Passion & desire to help AMERICA ..
where mccain is all about forign policy ..keep the money at home!!

Obama did fantastic considering the fact that this was the part of the debate that was suppose to be McCain's strongest field, such an expert at,and the fact that Republicans thought McCain was going to nail Obama on and hit this big home run just didn't happen.
All McCain has done throughout his whole campaign is talk about his time and experience at war...McCain we got it... we know... we heard you loud and clear, no disrespect to you but, you're starting to sound like you're still a "POW" it's not about you anymore this is not the sixties we are in a new millennium this is 2008 you're home...you're safe... you're no longer a prisoner get over it. I see why you don't want these wars to end you're still stuck in time. Start talking about the people of this country, the "MIDDLE CLASS" folks which you refuse to mention, enough about you.

Well...it's hard for me to say either side won. They both did very well. McCain i noticed is passionate about war and foreign policy, indicating how he would involve, france, germany etc. in dealing with Iran. LOOKUP YALL... If McCain gets in there your sons, grandsons, and greatgrandsons will still be in iraq, afghanistan or Iran. McCain accidently said a partial "captain" when referring to another senator who is non-military personnel. McCain has a vendetta to get enemies like the ones that captured him as a POW. Go back to replay it, if they haven't edited it out. It's praying time people. If Bush weasled his way into 2 terms and insists another Republican replace him...LOOKOUT !!!
Great Job Obama! You kept your poise, appeared strong, confident and wise as always.
OBAMA 08

I watched the debate and I am for Obama all the way. But, I was surprised that Senator McCain was still up at that time of night and seemed to articulate pretty well about what he has rehearsed or learned over his many years in Congress. He seemed very passionate about the cause that he has now taken on as his platform. I think he changed his stance to change when it seemed to be a factor in this election. I am also surprised that if you didn't know that he has been a "fat-cat" in Washington for so many years, you would believe that he really was in touch with the average citizen and gave a care to what we have been suffering and surviving for the last 8 years. I applaude them both, because that position that they are striving for, will age you and Senator McCain is already at the ceiling for the presidency to age the Commander and Chief. But, again, I was surprised that he was articulate and if I didn't know better, somewhat believable in his new fight for change. If he has voted with Mr. Bush for 90% percent of the time in the last 8 years, they are now trying to make the last dash for the finish line, and I hope that Senator McCain drops the baton and comes in second.

I WAS FOR NEITHER CANDIDATE. I WAS GOING TO USE MY VOTE AS A MESSAGE AND WRITE HILLARY CLINTON NAME IN.
HOWEVER NOW, I WILL VOTE FOR OBAMA BECAUSE MCCAIN IS A SERIOUSLY DERANGED PREJUDICE ARROGANT WHITE MAN. I DONT WANT ANY MORE OF OUR BOY/GIRLS LOST IN THIS SENSELESS WAR. AND OH YES, I WILL NEVER FORGET HIS PLAY ON SYMPATHY WITH THE REMARK OF THE BRACELET. I LOVED OBAMA'S ANSWER: I HAVE A BRACELET TOO. HA HA
