NEW YORK -- Check out the New York Times report that shows in six swing states: Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Nevada and North Carolina, they are trying to throw your vote out before you even get to the polls.
The Times' investigation found that election officials are throwing out voter registrations on unconstitutional grounds and the result could be tens of thousands of votes not counted this November. That number could be what makes the difference in what will certainly be a tight election.
If your registration has been removed, you may be challenged by the election officials or party officials. And we all know the dirty games they played in Ohio in 2004 and the infamous Florida voter vamp in the 2000 election that landed us somewhere between a rock, a hard place and Sh*t Creek. ...
Look, if you have registered in good standing with a state election board, are 18 years old or older, are not a convicted felon (laws vary from state to state), and are a United States citizen, you have the right to go to the polls and cast the vote of your choice. By law NOBODY has the right to stop you.
With that said, there are people who want more than anything else to keep you away from the polls because they feel their political opinions are more important than your rights. Make no mistake, these are the most disgusting, despicable people in the country. But there is something you can do about these a-holes.
Linked here is a list of state election boards that you can call and check to be sure you are registered in good standing and that there will be no obstacle to you casting your vote on Election Day. Also, check out these groups if you need resources or help in being sure you can vote.

Please, no more stolen elections. We can't afford anymore.

Ever since Black people got the right to vote, there have been all kinds of dirty tricks to keep us from voting. Back in the day, Black people were given literary tests and if they couldn't pass them, they weren't allowed to vote. Then, there was the controversy about showing driver's licenses. Further, there was the issue about not being able to vote if your house was in forclosure. Now, the latest is the criticism of Acorn. Acorn has registered over a million new voters and employs young people who are paid relatively low wages. This, I believe, encourages some fraud because there's the tendency of some individuals to cheat and turn in registrations in order to get paid. This does not effect the general election because those that show up must show picture I.D. We should all embrace the right to vote and on November 4th, get out and vote for the candidate of your choice.

If America Falls, most people are saying whites have no one to blame but theirselves as it was their majority vote which put Bush and his administration into office.
Many voices cry out in unision saying whats tragic is that we all have to suffer for their stupidity!!
When the world spoke back saying "Dumb Americans" not one of them listened. This country was given a second chance, one can only say "Don't Blow It" this time as we may not get another chance to get it right!!!

Answer to Cherokee. You seem to the the one that is uninformed. Fact 1. McCain was reprimanded by the congressional committee investigating the Keating 5. After he advised them that he would no longer intervene on behalf of Keating he received a reprimand. His close friend Keating went to jail. Fact 2. George Bush went to congress and told them that his intellegence reported that Iraq had WMD and the United States was in jeopady of being attacked. He was believed by mostly everyone in this country and others, including the Congress who then authorized the War. We later found that this was a lie. Fact 3. Sarah Palin was found to be guilty of "Abuse of Power" by an investigative body comprised of 10 Republicans and 4 Democrats, this was a unanimous decision. She also stated on the night of the debate, that when she became Vice President she would seek to expand the Power of that office. Fact 4. Ben Laden was responsible for the desaster of 9/11 and not Sadam Hussain. Also, when no planes were allowed to fly after 9/11 Mr. Bush transported Ben Laden's family to Saudi Arabia. Check your facts.

I live in Nj. My soritory did a voters registeration. Well when one of the committee members called and asked about if they need any more volunteers, they said they didn't need any more help. However, another member stated that she heard they have over 10,000 voter's registeration that have not been stamped and put in the system yet. So, that's the bs that they will be pulling to stop people from voting.

Some of you people are so freaking stupid it's funny. There are literally tens of thousands of people around the country voting illegally. Thousands of dead people vote; illegals are shown how to vote (99% of them vote Democrat), just plain crooks who are paid to vote a certain way, and other people simply vote 10, 20, 30 times. Of course, most Republicans are too stupid to do the same thing. They think they'll get caught, so they don't do it nearly as much as the Dems. And whet the hell, the Dems are old hands at such things--like the time they were caught red-handed allowing over 100,000 dead people to vote in Texas during LBJ's "election." So, don't be so indignant, you left wing loons; all you need to do is shut up about it, let it win the election for you, and continue on pretending you won it fair and square. Just remember one thing: You voted, you're going to win, and you deserve everything that's going to happen to you as a result.

deborah smith, no honey maybe you aure open up your mind! I have follow many elections including 200, 2004 when the elections was stolen and I have since Jan. 2008 cursade to help young people register to vote come 11/04/2008. The one thing I hate about Republicans is that they think they are above the rest, that money talk, and what the poor adn middle clas have to say means jack. Perhaps you didn't do your research but Obama was 8 years old when this man just happen to step on the wrong toes but yet he is now a professor who yea realize he made mistakes. Now if you want to talk dirty McCain left his cripple wife for Cindy and this women had 3 children. Also he associated hisself with people who also made mistakes. Sure we punish people for who they know but for what they satnd for? There are senators, congress men who awere klansmen, and now they are repersenting you, so what are you going to do about them..The Republicans are feeling the heat baby and now they are just speading lies! How about Palin who violated her powers..hmmm she's a liar also....
