Oz, I think you are a confused black man. Every time I hear or read someone saying, "that if black people vote for BARACK OBAMA. They are only doing so because he is black." I don't hear people saying, "if white people vote for BARACK OBAMA, they're voting for him because he is black." Don't insult our intelligence with that blanket comment about black people voting for BARACK OBAMA. I am sure a majority of black, white, hispanic people etc...., are voting for BARACK OBAMA because his policies and ideas are in line with their own belief on what NEW DIRECTION AMERICA should be taking. Oz, since you are not voting for BARACK OBAMA, I can't assume you are voting for McCain. You did not mention who you were voting for. If you are voting for McCain are you doing so because he is white? Think about it. I am definitely black and proud. I have cast my vote for BARACK OBAMA with pride.

Its people like the person who commented in #11 why people think blacks are ignorant. You sound stupid when you say you believe he's going to be shot. It's people with a negative mentality that drags this country to the ground.
If, you want to be stupid and believe that blacks are voting for Obama just because he's black,your wrong. Maybe if you would open your ears and stop being so single minded, you would know that he is CHANGE! Someone different will probably rise this country. I hope people don't believe that ANY presidental canidate can change this economic crisis within one term, Bush has ruined our economy extensively, as well as Mccain will,if he is elected. McCain has voted with Bush 90% of the time, he said this himself.
So for people who believe blacks are only voting for Barack because he's an African American your so wrong. Reevaulte why your voting. Stop worrying about if Barack maybe shot. Don't you think it crossed his mind and if he's willing to go forward anyway,than you should put your faith in him also, he knows the consequences. Think about it like this if you could honestly say that if Barack and McCain was the same as they are now, but their plans switch would you vote for the opposite because you believe the candidate of your choice has the best plans for YOUR future, than your making a politically correct choice.
Im not trying to push anybody into voting for Barack I just want everyone to make a well informed vote!

The Truth:
The picture is authentic. It was published in Time magazine and was taken 9/16/07 at an event in Indianola, Iowa where six Democratic presidential candidates appeared. It was Iowa Senator Tom Harkin's annual "meat and greet." The fourth person in the picture is Senator Harkin's wife, Ruth. Not seen in the picture are three other candidates who were standing out of view on the right side of the platform, Senator Chris Dodd, Senator John Edwards, Senator Joe Biden.


At question is what was going on with Senator Obama? His critics are circulating the picture and saying that he is not respecting the flag or the National Anthem, especially since the protocol, according to the United States Flag code, is that civilians should have their right hands over their hearts and that they should be facing the flag. His supporters are saying that this little lapse should not be held against him since there have been plenty of other events at which he has saluted the flag---so it did not mean that he would, in principle, avoid doing it.


Some supporters have suggested that perhaps the picture does not tell the whole story and that he may have raised his hand shortly after it was taken.


An ABC News video, however, shows that Senator Obama did not salute at any time during the Anthem and that everybody else on the platform did.


A spokesperson for the Senator told Fox News that it was ridiculous to suggest that Obama was making any kind of a statement and that sometimes "he does and sometimes he doesn't place his hand over his heart during the National Anthem.

Postpartum depression is so serious and it can lead to madness. Women are strong people but Palin have a lot to deal with and she’s looking for attention and its the wrong type of attention for her problem. We should all come together to help her get help. Mr. Palin is doing nothing about it and the GOP doesn’t give a dam. I know Tod Palin loves the attention more than her. They’re addicted to the spotlight regardless of all the mess they have step in they still will love the applause from the miss directed crowd of Americans.
