Before 'In Living Color' and 'Chappelle's Show' we had just four episodes of this wonderful show.
'The Richard Pryor Show.'
The network censors were all over Pryor in 1977.
Yup, that's Marsha Warfield and others. Classic sketch.

I remember this!! The censors were ALL over this. Before cable, before internet--before it all! Richard tried to do what he did best. TV wasn't ready yet. You know he's up in heaven, tipping glasses with Bernie Mac--oh wow. It's great to see this again!

There was nothing wrong with the Richard Pryor show.
Its fate was the same as Paris (James Earl Jones)
as detective. the media has been so prejudice for
so dawn long. The discontinuation of these shoes
lets us know just how hypocritical the USA HAS BEEN
and for how long. Long live Obama!
Truly yours, Fred Leigh

Richard show was before its time. America was not ready to confront the truth. There is yet a few that refuse to admit there is hidden prejudice.
Thanks for the blast from the past..
