I've been in this business for a minute and I know people make news decisions based on the needs and demands of his readers. With that said, I've never heard of a news outlet actually deciding not to publish a story of international interest like the election of the U.S. president.
Well, as it turns out, some goober journalists, if you can call them journalists, in Oklahoma decided to do just that. ...
It seems that the Sapulpa Herald in Oklahoma decided to leave that news tidbit out. But watch this video, and check out the excuse this mental giant (insert facetious tone here) gives for omitting one of the biggest historical events of the last ten years. As Sarah Palin would say, what a bunch of "jerks!!"
My own editors at BlackVoices.com gave me permission to call these people a$$wipes just this once. Let's leave it at that.
The sad thing is, this is NOT the only newspaper in America that either made this same call or downplayed the significance of Obama's win. Meanwhile, copies of other post-election newspapers, including the New York Times and the Amsterdam News, are being sold on eBay for a profit.

The paper should have put his picture on with a "Hammer & Sickle" in the background.....Exposing his Radical & Socialist agendas.

That Paper has a right to print or not print anything it wants, and you have a right to your "opinion". I applaud that paper for NOT SELLING OUT like all the other LIBERAL A$$Wipe NEWSPAPERS did. WE CAN HAVE AN OPINION TOO!

So, this is what we will be dealing with for four years. Any time someone does not worship and the feet of the Marxist O, they are automatically racist. Grow up. I'm sick to death of hearing about the guy. So he's half black and president elect. Big whoop. The real racist's are the ones who couldn't elect a 'man' or a 'woman' based on their qualification to lead. Instead, the sheeple fell for the snake oil and voted for a 'black man'.
How pathetic. I say Kudos to any paper or radio who goes back to talking about our every day lives as they are now and not the fawning over a chicago mobster who will soon wipe up all out.

Thats why they call it freedom of the press A$$wipe, the beauty of this country is our ability to decide for ourselves what we care about and what we could give a shit about. I am sure after Obama raises taxes,takes away the right to own guns, he'll start working on that.

A newspaper in Terrell, Tx also did not put Obama's win on their front page, stating they were not in the souuvenir business but did come out and take pictures of the protestors that marched the next day.

I agree with aldria, i would like to know what hey felt was mor eimportant more news worthy then the election of there new president when theres a new ruler appointed in England i bet every paper has it mentionioned when O.J. wa son trial i bet every paper had it mentioned in fact that oklahom0 paper probably had it front page, i bet any time an african american of well known stature is doing or accused or convivcted of wrong doing it makes the fron page. but known when one becomes president of america he doesnt.Well imk glad they didnt print it this way they cant get any of Obama news paper blitz pie money. and F***k all racist we put up with the bullsht long enough.
