Hillary Rodham Clinton MUST have done something right, as she was certainly a major concern for for Mr. Obama. Obviously, she would make a great Secretary of State. she is good with foreign matters, and not only that, but traditionally, SOT's don't run for office after they hold that appointed position. Additionally, it is best to keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.

I would be much more comfortable with a woman like Hillary closer to the President than Tina Fey,uhm I mean, Sarah Palin.

Hillary and Bill; that is a classic nightmare; but I trust Cool-Hand Obama, Astute Thinker, Kind, but definitely not a Fool, he will check everyone who was against him now in His cabinet is ready, I respect his sound judgement. He torn down the Clinton Machine; and over threw the alleged War Mac persona as a maverick; showed him to be instead a Renegade that thinks like a idiot, JMac was not the only war heroe; just the one selected to get the unworthy praise; many men were captured. Here is the real deal, Hillary, Ms Slick & Smart serves At the Pleasure of the President; He is the Boss; and her other Boss on Foreign Affairs is the Vice-President Elect, and he will not let her get away with having her Way. We will See how This Savvy and Pragmatic, Smart, Organizer, Editor of his School Paper from the Ivy Halls of Harvard to the Streets of Chicago prevails. While He is sleeping, he is planning and will produce an answer for the ills of the World; i.e., Economy, Health & Education.

Hillary Clinton is an excellent choice. It is
better for the country to have her. She is smart,
saavy, and tough. I think all the people who are
terrified and afraid of her have a problem with aggressive and powerful women, i.e. for them its really a gender issue. Hillary will do the best she can for this country. Its not for herself. She would have been just as happy being senator.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is superbly qualified for the job of Secretary of State. By offering her the position, President-Elect, Obama has shown that he is magnanimous in victory, the same attitude he has shown to the rebel senator- Joe Lieberman.
I look forward to a successful Obama administration, considering the caliber of men and women he has so far nominated for his cabinet.
We should all do our bit by praying for Obama's success and not being too judgmental about his decisions, especially with regards to political appointments.

The only reason Hillary is getting a job with the Obama Central Committee is because she agreed to drop out of the race and turn over all her delegates to Obama. She has no business being Secretary of State and this my friends is going to be a disaster we will be paying for many years down the road! on the positive side.... not all original cabinet appointees retain their jobs full term! She may resign by the middle of 2010 anyway!

This will be Obama's first big mistake. No way should he appoint Hillary Clinton As Sec. of State. The Clintons are self serving, corrupt and immoral. We have had eight of years of them and that is more than enough.

Why must the position of Sec of State, appear to be in jeopardy of needing two folks,(Bil& Hil), for the job, rather than just one other, who will not confuse the mindset needed for the job? Obama appears very kind hearted, but he can not change past customs used by Hill&Bill.These folks appear to still be engaged in child's play.ME FIRST. Either, appear Ready for the kill to get what they want at any cost. What part of Hil's youth re beating the boys, up or down,young or old to get edge on her nick in space,don't folks understand? What part of That untimely role played by Hil during the Primary in attempt to win did not some folks understand? This will to do anything to acquire this what appears to be a must have position is very very scary. Do we need this drama?

Get over the primaries! 85% of Hillary's supporters did. As bitter as the primaries were, Hillary went above and beyond to rally her supporters behind Obama and help him to victory. It's the least he could do after not giving a person who won 18 million primary votes the VP slot. It's just too bad for her that she's going to take it. She'd have a much better chance at a presidential run in 2016 if she stayed in the Senate. Look what happened to Colin Powell.
