There's a funny conversation going on over on the Black Voices community boards. Black Voices member BlackHarlemNow has started a thread riffing on who should NOT show up at President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony. In some cases those who made the list were staunch Obama detractors. And, well, in other cases the community has pointed out some folks who are simply troublesome.
She kicks off the 'Do Not Invite List' with none other than Kwame Kipatrick and it goes on from there. The list includes many others who should plan on watching the events on TV like: The Real Housewives of Atlanta; Flava Flav; Alan Keyes; Sean Hannity; Karl Rove; Elizabeth Hasselbeck; Bob Johnson and more. ...
Even though I was laughing out loud at some of entries, my personal belief is that we all have to find a way to unify and get on with the business of fixing our broke country. Note - I did not say broken, I said broke. (We have a zero percent savings rate, but more on that in another post.)

The rev. jeremiah wright's sermon, "Confusing God with Government" taken from the NRSV Bible 'Book of Isiah' needs to heard for its 45 minute christian content.
It shoulkd not be confused with the rants of demi-gods. It should not be confused with the perverse use of distracting the populace from its intense christian message.
Instead it was used to separate a pastor from a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ's flock.
There is nothing incendiary about his sermon. However, if you are part of the crowd that has a wags-a-tail mentality, then I understand.
Thinking and Understanding are a process. Listening, fully, goes before these realizations. Listen to the 45 minutes of the sermon.

This BLACK CZAR is a racist. he will have 99% of the colored hollywood there and BLACK VOICES ON AOL is a racist site........it should be shut down. I want Italian Voices or WHITE VOICEs but no AOL is a racist liberal site..........and OBAMMMMMMMA is a racist

Why does AOL say they need black voices. This is a racist site and should be taken down. With this CZAR OBAMA in the WHITE house its going to be a long 4 years till Sarah takes over. The colored think they have a credit card in the white house. the RACE CARD will be pulled out anytime someone is against him.....
