There's a funny conversation going on over on the Black Voices community boards. Black Voices member BlackHarlemNow has started a thread riffing on who should NOT show up at President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony. In some cases those who made the list were staunch Obama detractors. And, well, in other cases the community has pointed out some folks who are simply troublesome.
She kicks off the 'Do Not Invite List' with none other than Kwame Kipatrick and it goes on from there. The list includes many others who should plan on watching the events on TV like: The Real Housewives of Atlanta; Flava Flav; Alan Keyes; Sean Hannity; Karl Rove; Elizabeth Hasselbeck; Bob Johnson and more. ...
Even though I was laughing out loud at some of entries, my personal belief is that we all have to find a way to unify and get on with the business of fixing our broke country. Note - I did not say broken, I said broke. (We have a zero percent savings rate, but more on that in another post.)

To Margie who commented on Dec. 18th -- Bush #1 and Bush #2 are the reasons why Americans are hated all over the world. The reason the economy is in such horrific shape,is because of the stupidity of Bush 1+2 and their greedy lobbyists. Instead of our government using real diplomacy, and intellect - the Bush savages relied on bad advice from each other. Margie, I truly hope you will read, ponder and type intellectual comments - go take a nap, or something.

First its silly to even write an article about it. Of course the left wing idiots will only want "their" people there. And of course they will NOT allow any protestors. Unlike how the left wing demanded to be within spitting distance during President Bush's inaugurations, you dont hear ANYTHING from them about President Elect Obie's.

Pastor Hunter, you are way off base, no racial hatred AT ALL from OReilley and Hannity, just rev wright! I watch all the time, they are very NON RACIST, and Rev Wright is VERY RACIST! How could you be so screwed up on this? Maybe you WANT them to be racist!?
