Angry protesters rampaged through the streets of downtown Oakland Wednesday, setting a car on fire and creating a near-riot that lasted several hours. Watch the video to see why residents are so angry over the arrest-turned-execution of 22-year-old Oscar Grant. Source

Officer Johannes Mehserle is accused of shooting Grant while he was lying face-down on a train station platform. More than 100 people were arrested by police, according to KCBS-TV. Officer Mehserle reportedly resigned from his post.
