It was just 35 words.
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Barack Obama had a little swearing in stumbled Tuesday. It started with Obama jumping the gun on the opening line. Oops.
Then Roberts changed the wording of the oath, misplacing the word "faithfully." Obama gave his least-favorite justice a polite glare until Roberts said it correctly.
During the whole tongue-tying tango, Michelle kept her cool, she didn't flinch, she just kept smiling with a proud look on her face.

Come on, on a SPECIAL HISTORICAL MOMENT IN HISTORY, how is John Roberts going to mess up? Vice Presdent Obiden's was longer than that and he sure didn't mess up on his?

John Roberts was just angry because Obama didn't vote to confirm him to the Supreme Court.

I think John Roberts did that on purpose because it was not a white president or a republican. But what goes around will come around all those who try to be funny and DISRESPECT PRESIDENT OBAMA will get theres I don't care if they are BLACK OR WHITE AND OR LIBRAL and Joe Biden will need to take his JOb serious as VP or he will be out of a job due to a sickness. Because God will cut him down HE BETTER RESPECT HIS BOSS

Just heard today, President Obama and Vice President Obiden both re-took their OATHS. I am REASURRED and AT EASE KNOW!!! But, this will still go down in the history books of this mess up! I'm sure, when Obama wins for the next presidency and is sworn again, THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN!!!!!!! Roberts, will then have the right words carved and memorized by that time!

I read the exact verbal exchange and Roberts goofed first by not letting Obama say his full name before proceeding with the oath: He was supposed to say entirely "I, Barack Hussain Obama,..." but Roberts began saying the next part when Obama had only said "I, Barack..."

Give me a break...I think John Roberts was way nervous...this after all, is a magical time...it just shows that John Roberts is human. What should be noted and is far more important, is that it proves that President Obama is sharp and he is not just going through the motions! What a great way to show the world that he listens and he is constantly alert and aware! Obama's the man!!!!!!!! How ya like me now?

You lay down in bed for the night. But God only knows why, but suddenly you begin remebering an embarassing moment from your past. It's so vivid, that you find yourself reliving that moment just as though it were happening all over again. You groan and you toss, unable to sleep, because your all upset again over something you did or said that made you feel about an inch tall.
Hey all, you don't think Roberts, was doing that very samething the night of the inaugural. Cut him some slack. The poor dude was probably replaying that episode over in his mind all night long.
