We as blacks and other well meaning and rational people of all colors and persuasions have to do all we can to assist the President in his efforts in making things right.
We should do all we can to see him success but sadly, there are forces out there who is banking (no pun indented)on him failing. This is a vicously hateful group of people
Regardless of how it is articulated, there is a lot of disrepect for blacks an the President, and this is evident in the New York's Post shameful cartoon. We are not dealing with rational people here my friends and I also agree totally with Eric Holder our new Attorney General who was right on target saying some are cowards. We are being provoked into a situation that they themselves do not want.
Some white right wing talk show host and panelist cannot even bring themselves to call him Mr.President or Mr. Obama while in the same breath they call George Bush President Bush. This was evident on the Maclaughlin Group show on WQLN TV Sunday 15th at 12.00PM EST Feb 2009 by a panelist and take note of this person Monica Crowley a right wing panelist.
We will all pray that God gives President Obama a brother in Christ the strength and keep him safe in the turbulent times.
We all should be vigilant in the coming months and years ahead.

In spite of the fact that the trolls on the other side of the aisle are relentlessly biting at his heels, the President is doing his job. He is working at a feverish pace to right a wrong that he inherited as if it were his own fault. I applaud him for his can-do spirit and willingness to tackle such a huge problem. I will do whatever I can to support him and his administration. Go President Obama!!!

I agree. President Obama inheritated this big mess, and we are supporting his efforts to do what he can to guide his administration and us in the right direction. There are those who are nothing but racist, bigots, who would rather this nation fall than see a black person in the position of President. When they speak, you can see it in their eyse, and hear it in their voices. They are blinded by their own greed, and quest for power. As a people our struggle has served to make us strong, and we also have a clear understanding that our help comes from the Lord. If it were possible to destroy us as a people we would have been gone a long time ago. In spite of all the horrible things that has been thrust upon us" Still we rise". We're with you Mr. President. Not just because you're black, but because you have a mind and heart to do the right thing, and we have a mind to work. Mr. President don't come down off the wall.

I am so tired of the crying about the cartoon. It is clear to any person with half a brain that that cartoon was saying that only a stark raving mad monkee would have written that stupid bill. OBAMA did not write it.....it was Nancy Pilosi (spelling of her name is probably not right) and Harry Reid and all their cohorts that have been waiting until they had all the votes to pass as much crap they could while everyone was blinded by Obama's great speeches. People look at the bill. I could list a number of the pork projects but if you dont want to read the bill you will not believe what I am saying if you were to see it in black and white on the page. The dead monkee is NOT representing Obama! Only people that are blind will really believe that. And yet again we have all the regulars standing together to say fire this one and fire that one or we will use our power to bash you and get our way. Quit letting your poor feelings get hurt. Right after Obama was elected there were two young black men that came up to the car where my neices were blocked in traffic and they leaned into the windows on both sides of the car and proclaimed to the young girls "WE OWN YOU BITCHES NOW" and I have been told that it is time for me to pay up. I have not taken from anyone but my parents and the only people that paid me were the people who I worked for "when I was not laid off. My parents were poor and their parents , and their parents. I dont know anyone directly in my ancestory that did not work hard for a small wage.

Congratulations that you don't believe that the Post was referring to Obama! There are a few of you. But you believe your nieces that two black men came up to them in their car and made egregiuous statements!? Hmmm...that's being going on for decades too, Bob. Maybe its just a case of ONE tends to believe more of what suits our beliefs, in general. Open your eyes, Bob. Lots of people been working for small wages a lot longer that you, sir.

No Obama did not write the stimllus bill, but you and I both know this was directed at Obama cartoon was mean, and troubling, even if its was not directed at Obama, but it was. I would like to see those mena spirited people to get over it he is the presidnet yours and mine weather you like it or not. And yes the guy who wrote this cartoon should be fired. And know one should ever buy the New York Post again, and I was a New yorker who read the post daily, since I am no longer in New York, I do not have to worry about buying the post. We as american should be very proud that we are trying to get over some of our bigot, and hateful ways towards people of color.
and learn to love one another just as we are.

I am glad he is saying this because mayors are no gooders too when they want to be.
I won the California state lotto in 1999 in my town and a young man stole my ticket at a grocery store. I didn't know what to do so I called our mayor to tell him about it and he informed me that they (the store where my ticket was stolen ) had cameras. I said good because it was the stores idea that this guy(who stole my ticket) helped me with my groceries(because this store don't help the customers and they don't bag your groceries). so because it was their idea to get this employee to help me I figured they are responsible, so I told the mayor " I am suing food for less for having that employee take my groceries to the car( which by the way he did not do) he followed behind me as I pushed both baskets, he had his arms crossed as if to say 'they are not paying me to do this job.'
so when we got to my car he stood their with his arms crossed and watched me load my groceries in and at the last minute he wanted to know if he can help me . while he was suppose to be helping he reached inside a bag in my trunk that I loaded with my mail and lotto ticket that was on the front seat of my car area which I needed to put groceries , I moved the mail and bag to the trunk. when I looked through the back area of my car window to see what the guy was doing ...I saw him take something and put in in his jacket and zip it up and slammed my trunk and walked away hiding something up in his jacket. well I called the mayor the next day after I realized it was my lotto ticket he had stole. the mayor told me what to do and I told the mayor I am going to sue that store...the mayor got real quite and asked me what day and time I went to the store. woe!! I thought good !...the mayor is going to help me. but the next day when I found an attorney ,my attorney got mad at me when I told him I had called the mayor . my lawyer told me the mayor owned the store I said that I am suing ...and I told the mayor I am suing the store. so when I went back to the store and spoke to the managers, Tommy and Robert they both said at the same time (like programmed twins) "no arif works here" ( arif is the guy who stole my ticket) I remembered that ugly a*s curly hair and short ass guy wearing a old army jacket and his name ...the girl had to ask him to help me with my groceries 4 times because he kept ignoring her so she would scream his name out and when she would scream arif i remembered saying to myself that arif is a rat! and that's how I remembered his name. but my attorney was a family friend of the mayor so conflict of interest was in play in my case but the lawyer still took the case and lead me around the way our mayor wanted him too. so in my town the big wigs have been doing (white) business as usual...no good no good no good!! but I have a big surprise for whitey, the mayor and arif and my attorney!!!!!! "when a man stills from you he will pay you double and when he be found out and they(mayor, attorney,lotto) allow him to get away with it ...those people shall pay you also!!! get ready to pay me!!!!! so I am glad that obama is cracking the whip on all these devils... the devils job is to still kill and destroy!!!! so now obama knows who he has been dealing with...the devil ! so now that god is here we can all do right again no more killing stealing and destroying!!!!! obama... global warming is going to clean up this mess because most of those devils cant stand the sun and when the sun aligns with the milky way galaxy all these devils will be destroyed... they will get what they got coming!!!!!!!! hold to your seat Mr x mayor, attorney and arif...the real games have just started!!!!!! and i am taking you and alot of other to the hell you tried to take me too!!! get ready get ready!!!!!!

The first that should be called out is Nancy Polosi and Harry Reid. Just L@@K the STATE of the Union In California and Nevada and we should see that they are the last people who should be running this Countries Legislation. If they can't heal their State how can they heal the Country? Both on the top of the list for foreclosures,Bankruptcy, and unemployment. If your congressional leaders is not proforming for your State it is time to vote for someone else to represent you instead of allowing those who are already there to continue to line their pockets with Special Interest and Lobbyist money. It is time for us to get busy and serious about the State of our Life.
