A cardinal rule for good leadership is to always manage the expectations of your followers.
And President Obama has followed that advice to a tee during the opening stanza of his presidency. ...
Despite being swept into office on a wave of enthusiasm, emotion and hero worship unseen in national politics in decades, Obama has been careful to warn Americans that tough times are still ahead for the foreseeable future, and that his policies to bring change will take some time to make a difference.
Well, President Obama had a different message for us in his address this week. With the recent passage of his American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Obama has -- ever so slightly -- moved to a new message: Help isn't just on the way, help is here now.
"...there will now be shovels in the ground, cranes in the air, and workers rebuilding our crumbling roads and bridges, and repairing our faulty levees and dams," the president said.He added that by April 1, the typical family will take home $65 more a month due to tax-cutting provisions. Not huge money in any real sense but nearly $800 dollars a year that is better served in our pockets than rattling around in government coffers.
So while we know the economy won't turn around overnight, we have received word from the top that we can expect to see some improvement NOW.

I think along we could strengthen the economy by giving small business a break put the dollars there.
Small business need health benefits for there employees. They need credit I agree they also need 4o1k's for their employees to feel comfortable, the
happier your employees the happier your customers.
The happier your cleint's. Small business at this time need incentives. So does their employees.

I agree, but we have to begin to engage "somewhere" to address and clean up this mess that was created by the Bush administration! It's strange that republicans fail to address the fact that they had the largest defict in this country's history! Obama I'm with you, but we all are aware that this isn't going to be either a quick fix, or something that's going to reverse itself overnight. Stay the course!

President Obama cares about the American people and is keeping his campaign promises. His opponents are challenging on ever leve, undercutting the Amwerican people. These goveners who are saying they want take the money or oly a portion of it, needs to challenged by grassroot coalitions. They seem to be playing partianship politic which is affecting those in needs. That way is over and a CHANGE has come, but each citizen has to take part in the effort. We need to get involved on a common ground to meet the needs. People are sufferring, President Obama is empathetic to that but he needs the people backing him and standing befor these politicians and demanding, yes, I said demanding our tax dollars. Wake up, all the elected officials are not working in the best interest of the voters, in my opinion.

Republicans are putting up every road block to stop the stimulus package. Where were the Republicans when Bush spent money like a drunken sailor? The Greedy Old Party only cares about themselves and their corporate buddies. And if you are black, tough luck.

FOR SO MANY REASONS, THE STIMULUS PLAN MUST BE EXECUTED. IT IS TRUE THAT A LOT OF COMMENTATORS ARE BABBLING ABOUT EVERY THING COMES FROM THIS PRESIDENT. LIKE Mr. HHUSH LIMBAUGH, BY THE WAY, BEFORE THE MICROPHONE, WHAT DID HE STUDY TILL TO TALK SO LOUD ABOUT THE ECONOMIC ISSUES LIKE STIMULUSING FACTS? JUST BEING A TALK HOST, IS NOT A PRIVILEGE. IT'S A RESPONSABILITY; THAT'S WHY THE 21st CENTURY REQUIRES A SERIOUS RE-EDUCATION ABOVE ALL IN AMERICA. FOR THOSE WHO CAN NOT DEAL WITH THE DIFFERENCE EVEN FOR THE BEST. WE ALL KNOW THAT, JEALOUZY IS A KIND OF SICKNESS WHICH MIGHT BE CARED ONLY BY THE TIME, AND NOW IT IS NOT THE TIME FOR RUSTICISM OR POLITICS; SOME THING MUST BE DONE FOR THE NATION WHO HAS CHOOSE BARACK OBAMA TO LEAD THE COUNTRY. IT IS NOT A GIFT, HE DID WORK HARD TO REACH THAT GOAL. THEREFORE, LET'S WORK WITH HIM! AND BE MORE SMART THAN FEELINGS OR NONSENSE CRITICISM. NO MATTER BLACK OR WHITE, LET THE COUNTRY GO FORWARD AS THE WIND OF A NEW SOCIETY WHERE THE NEW GENERATION WILL BE MORE SMART THAN EVER. DO NOT WASTE OUR TIME LIKE Mr. LIMBOOO, HE WON'T GO NO WHERE! REMEMBER, THE NEXT FOUR YEARS, THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE WILL BE MORE SERIOUS, MORE FORCEED. NO MORE LIGHT-MIND, BUT STRONG AND PRAGMATIC TO BE ON THE BOARD. B.OBAMA HAS OPENED A BRAIN NEW VIEW TO SEE AND KNOW BETTER TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT LEADER. P.S. TRY TO READ "FIRST STEP ON STAGE" by VERSAINT, at POETRY.COM

Don't you all get it? BO is not going to help you. The only thing he is going to do is take us all down if something is not done.
He has helped the people Overseas, more that he had even thought about doing for the american people. WHY? because most of his campaign money came from there, he is indebted to do for them, we MAY come later, like he said.
BO is like the blind leading the blind, and it is leading the people to a dead end road.
