I saw this a few weeks ago, and I just had to post it. The video has a great message, but the funniest part has to be the brother's exaggerated movements. I nearly died around the 7 second mark at his face. Tell me that isn't the funniet face you have ever seen!
According to the Ad Council...
More than 79% of Americans feel "the most significant family or social problem facing America is the physical absence of the father from the home." Research shows that the lack of a father in the home correlates closely with crime, educational and emotional problems, teenage pregnancy, and drug and alcohol abuse.
In an effort to show dads the critical role they play in their children's lives, the Ad Council has partnered with the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse and volunteer ad agency Campbell-Ewald to create a new PSA campaign that communicates to fathers that their presence is essential to their children's well-being. The campaign provides fathers with the information they need to become better dads.

My thoughts exactly! I love this PSA. I saw it once, and have been looking out for it ever since....!
It should be entered into the PSA awards (if there is such an award.)
It's my favorite!

Thanks for posting this commerical.I have also been searching for it for a long time. I had this kind of 'Daddy'. This ad evoked a lot of emotion inside of this 51 year old sistah" when I see it. It tells a whole story of how important having a father is. And I have 2 older sisters! LOL

This is just one of the things that fathers do everyday. I'm glad to see fathers get a little props for a change.

Well... I saw this several months ago, and it is not only the most adorable PSA I have seen, it is the most profound. I love it because the father is really all into it... we as parents find ourselves, basically just playing a role. This father is obviously a huge part of his daughter's life... and the fact that he is a BLACK father, makes it all the more beautiful.
