"I wanted the A for myself, and I wanted to do it, and ooh, they said you sounded like a white person, I don't know what that means, but uhh." Huh?
Man, oh, man. That's who he's married to, what does that tell you? This is what we've got -- you know what we've got? We've got trash in the White House. Trash is a, is a thing that is color blind, it can cross all eco -- ecosocionomic kind of categories, you can work on Wall Street or work at the Wal-Mart. Trash are people who use other people to get things, who patronize others, who consider you bitter and clingy. Source
This is typical of Bruce's racist non sequiturs. After all, Tammy Bruce has a very long history of making racially caustic remarks ...

In 1995, following the OJ Simpson verdict:
"What we need to teach our children," Ms. Bruce said in on ABC's "Nightline" the day after the verdicts, is "not about racism," but "about violence against women." She added that her domestic violence message provided "a needed break from all that talk of racism."Ah the old competition between the 'isms. Guess Bruce does not understand how sexism, racism and homophobia are all linked.
Even more disturbing, Ms. Bruce's critics said, were remarks she is reported to have made last month after refusing to appear on a Philadelphia talk show. Station officials were quoted in an Associated Press report as saying that Ms. Bruce said she did not want to "argue with a bunch of black women" about the Simpson case. SourceThe Los Angeles Chapter of NOW asked her to apologize, Bruce refused and left her post.
Tammy Bruce had an apoplectic reaction to Camille and Bill Cosby in the wake of their son Ennis' murder. Camille Cosby penned an editorial that was printed on July 8, 1998, the day after Mikail Markhasev was found guilty of the 27-year old doctoral student's murder. Mrs. Cosby began: "I believe America taught our son's killer to hate African Americans," and cited a racist remark made by Markhasev. Bruce's response:
"I have two words for you this evening," (Tammy Bruce) warned listeners. "Camille Cosby." The Tammy, as fans affectionately call her, then went ballistic. In two hours of fire and brimstone, she ripped apart the essay line by line, not only questioning Camille's sanity but wondering aloud about her super-rich and powerful husband's sexual mores, referring to him as a "philandering, impregnating friend of O.J. Simpson." While acknowledging that she had no proof, she suggested that the revered Cosby, a friend of Simpson lawyer Johnnie Cochran, may have secretly helped to fund the ex-football star's murder defense. But most of her ire was aimed at Camille's assertion that the 27-year-old Ennis had been shot to death while changing a tire late at night near a lonely stretch of Mulholland Drive because he was black. Bruce posited that he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time-while driving his mother's $130,000 Mercedes-Benz. She then implied that the parents themselves shared the blame. "I say to Mrs. Cosby first of all, if she's not in therapy she needs to get some immediately. And how dare she!" fumed The Tammy. Source
The radio station that employed her at the time issued an unprecedented apology and Bruce was fired - you can read more details here.
Hall said in his taped remarks that "while it was entirely appropriate to voice disagreement with Mrs. Cosby's views," Bruce's comments were "excessive, and for that we apologize."Tammy Bruce and I agree on one thing: she should not make any attempt at an apology because from her would be a lie. But of course, she wouldn't anyway.
"Specifically," Hall said, "Mrs. Cosby was characterized as 'incredibly unstable, crazy, paranoid, delusional, just nuts' and the like. It was suggested that Mrs. Cosby seek therapy. We had no information about Mrs. Cosby's mental health. . . . We wish to apologize. Source

Great advice, except for that pesky first amendment. Where does she get off speaking her mind in public, anyway. We need the PC police to keep her quiet!

Yes, that's what liberals want. If I don't agree with your opinion, then I don't have a right to speak it. Take her off the air! Silence her!
That's what they do (did) in Russia and China, and if Obama manages to get the Fairness Doctrine passed, that is exactly what will happen here.
Then there will only be one lock step opinion in America. His.
That's my opinion, and I know that you will think that I don't have the right to voice it because it differs from yours.
Sometimes you can learn from other people with differing opinions. If you will just open you mind.

Sad...sad...sad that she is even allowed to have a radio show...sure freedom of speech is one thing, but freedom of ignorance? Freedom of out and out hatred? How many more Don Imus's and Tammy Bruce's do we have to suffer through? Is this the only resort left in the arsenal- mindless rants- hurling insults- has it gotten that bad???? It's truly sad, but its also so petty and desperate that its actually funny! How about a round of applause for Tammy Bruce for once again showing how desperate some of these people have gotten...is this what fear does to people? Is this all they have left? what a joke...

Of course she should be STRIPPED of her right to speak! I much prefer to hear Olberman denigrate anyone he doesn't like every night. Only Olberman should be allowed Freedom on Speech right?
Only a complete and utter ignant fascist would say that this woman shouldn't be allowed to have a talk show. Hey guest what pal, if you silence her then you have to silence all the repugnant pigs like Chris Mathews, Rachel Maddow and Keith Olberman.
I agree 100% with this woman. We have sure had trash in the white house before but these low lives are loud and disgusting pigs. Someone needs to tell that disrespectful and miserable witch to wear some sleeves in the winter. No one wants to see her football player shoulders.

I beg to differ with all of the Commentary that proclaims "Freedom of Speech!" There is a difference between this and inciting a riot or yelling, "FIRE" in movie theatre. When your words have irrevocable harm and they seriously cause damage to others? That is NOT Freedom of Speech !That is Propaganda and a Campaign of Hatred!! Even after the Terrorist attacks of 9/11. It is against the Law for Federal Employees to use derogatory and racists claims to describe people of Middle Eastern descent! Have WE been afforded these same liabilities? Please understand YOU cannot just say whatever You want! This is why in recent years the Government has evoked, Terrorist and Criminal Threat Statutes onto the Law Books. People go to Jail and Lose their lives every single day behind.....WHAT COMES OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS!!! Remember, I can pull out a gun and place it back in it's holster....I can pull out knife and put it back in it's sheath....But, I can never take back the words that I've said??!!!!
