"I wanted the A for myself, and I wanted to do it, and ooh, they said you sounded like a white person, I don't know what that means, but uhh." Huh?
Man, oh, man. That's who he's married to, what does that tell you? This is what we've got -- you know what we've got? We've got trash in the White House. Trash is a, is a thing that is color blind, it can cross all eco -- ecosocionomic kind of categories, you can work on Wall Street or work at the Wal-Mart. Trash are people who use other people to get things, who patronize others, who consider you bitter and clingy. Source
This is typical of Bruce's racist non sequiturs. After all, Tammy Bruce has a very long history of making racially caustic remarks ...

In 1995, following the OJ Simpson verdict:
"What we need to teach our children," Ms. Bruce said in on ABC's "Nightline" the day after the verdicts, is "not about racism," but "about violence against women." She added that her domestic violence message provided "a needed break from all that talk of racism."Ah the old competition between the 'isms. Guess Bruce does not understand how sexism, racism and homophobia are all linked.
Even more disturbing, Ms. Bruce's critics said, were remarks she is reported to have made last month after refusing to appear on a Philadelphia talk show. Station officials were quoted in an Associated Press report as saying that Ms. Bruce said she did not want to "argue with a bunch of black women" about the Simpson case. SourceThe Los Angeles Chapter of NOW asked her to apologize, Bruce refused and left her post.
Tammy Bruce had an apoplectic reaction to Camille and Bill Cosby in the wake of their son Ennis' murder. Camille Cosby penned an editorial that was printed on July 8, 1998, the day after Mikail Markhasev was found guilty of the 27-year old doctoral student's murder. Mrs. Cosby began: "I believe America taught our son's killer to hate African Americans," and cited a racist remark made by Markhasev. Bruce's response:
"I have two words for you this evening," (Tammy Bruce) warned listeners. "Camille Cosby." The Tammy, as fans affectionately call her, then went ballistic. In two hours of fire and brimstone, she ripped apart the essay line by line, not only questioning Camille's sanity but wondering aloud about her super-rich and powerful husband's sexual mores, referring to him as a "philandering, impregnating friend of O.J. Simpson." While acknowledging that she had no proof, she suggested that the revered Cosby, a friend of Simpson lawyer Johnnie Cochran, may have secretly helped to fund the ex-football star's murder defense. But most of her ire was aimed at Camille's assertion that the 27-year-old Ennis had been shot to death while changing a tire late at night near a lonely stretch of Mulholland Drive because he was black. Bruce posited that he was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time-while driving his mother's $130,000 Mercedes-Benz. She then implied that the parents themselves shared the blame. "I say to Mrs. Cosby first of all, if she's not in therapy she needs to get some immediately. And how dare she!" fumed The Tammy. Source
The radio station that employed her at the time issued an unprecedented apology and Bruce was fired - you can read more details here.
Hall said in his taped remarks that "while it was entirely appropriate to voice disagreement with Mrs. Cosby's views," Bruce's comments were "excessive, and for that we apologize."Tammy Bruce and I agree on one thing: she should not make any attempt at an apology because from her would be a lie. But of course, she wouldn't anyway.
"Specifically," Hall said, "Mrs. Cosby was characterized as 'incredibly unstable, crazy, paranoid, delusional, just nuts' and the like. It was suggested that Mrs. Cosby seek therapy. We had no information about Mrs. Cosby's mental health. . . . We wish to apologize. Source

To those conservatives claiming that Tammy is right and that Michelle Obama was making racists claims about "talking white", you have NO IDEA what it's like to be a person of color and be educated. Growing up in the ghetto Bronx in the 80s, I had my own kind (hispanics and blacks) bashing me for "speaking white" all because I wanted to speak proper grammar and aspired to higher education and college. To this day, I still see blacks and latinos give me odd looks and looks of derision when I open my mouth and sound "educated" and to them, I am a traitor to their cause and "la raza" because I chose to educate myself. Go figure. Tammy has no idea the reasoning behind the comments Mrs. Obama was saying to those young black kids, because Tammy Bruce is a white lesbian who never had to deal with any sort of oppression, other than the alleged discrimination she gets from liberals (as if the conservatives on her side LOVE lesbians, ha!... she is in for a rude awakening soon!). Mrs. Obama is educated and wants young black kids to also embrace education and not fear it for being tainted as "speaking white". Tammy Bruce is a clueless racist tool.
