Last week the Black Voices crew hit the streets of New York with our cameras and a mission: Find the voice of the people.
Once we found 'em, we asked, "What do you think of President Obama's first 100 days?"
We met with people from all over the U.S. and the world, and here's what they had to say. Flip through our interviews and upload your own video here!

You asked about his 100 days in office. He has put us in a debt we'll never recover from. Our children and grandchildren will be paying for his socialistic policies their entire lifetime. He has denied our Christian roots. He will go down as the worst president even worse than Carter. He is naive, inexperienced, and I truly believe he hates America. Like most all muslims as I believe he is, want to destroy the America we know and love.

Why do we need a "Black" Policy? ... Why don't we have a "White" policy ... How come there is not a section on AOL for "White" voices? ... How 'bout a miss "White" USA pageant? ...
If the community creates ways to segregate, then they will. Racism .. from any race towards any another, will never go away until activities and programs become colorblind.

The first 100 days have been very disappointing. I was hoping for change and I got more of the same BS. Unfortunately, we all expected more from him - we all actually believed in his rhetoric. Closing down Gitmo is a joke because now the prisoners are staying in Afghanistan and not be transferred to Gitmo so no true change in policy. The stimulus package was filled with so much pork because he left it to Nancy Pelosi. What happened to transparency? Where has the President been on Iran - ooh sorry don't want to meddle. Nope but we will watch you terrorize your citizens on Youtube. But, we are more than willing to meddle in Honduras - him and Chavez are buddies now. Yes, please put the Honduran President back into the presidency - who cares that he wants to illegally change the constitution & do a Chavez move. Cap & Trade Taxes - oh yeah that promise no tax on the middle class. Please tell ConEd, MTA, AT&T and every other company for me that I'm not paying any tax increases because you promised me last fall - no more taxes. Healthcare - this is the scary one, because we desperately need a national healthcare coverage. But, only 3 senators said they would swap their private insurance (which we taxpayers pay for) for the public option. Wow, so it isn't good enough for you but it's good enough for my poor broken ass. Charter Schools - he's in bed with the unions. Public school teachers don't send their own children to public schools because their not good enough so they send their children to private or charter schools instead. But, the President wants to take away charter schools.
The country is a mess and I really want our president to stop delegating the domestic issues to Nancy Pelosi and all of that infightig. I want him to stop apologizing to the world on every visit. And stop blaming the last president, because for the last 2 years the Democratic party was controlling Congress and they have been passing every pet project through. We are all to blame, we have to cut spending because we can't be taxed anymore. I know the federal gov't likes to think money grows on trees, but it really doesn't and we really need to get our financial house in order.

Hmmm, I guess we are still finishing up some of Bush's policies. You can Google U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue because there's more, but I can't post it all.
George W. Bush (2006) - The Strategic Economic Dialogue will also be a forum for discussing ways the United States and China can work together to address economic challenges and opportunities as responsible stakeholders in the international economic system. The Strategic Economic Dialogue will help to ensure leaders of the two countries can address critical economic challenges facing their economies, have a forum for discussing cross-cutting issues, and can make the most productive use of the existing bilateral commissions and dialogues. Likely themes of the discussions will include: building innovative societies, seizing the opportunities of global economic integration to assure sustained growth, and the economics of energy and conservation. The United States will also support China in China's goal of building a consumer-driven economy rooted in open markets.
Barack Obama (2009) - The First U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue. The United States and China are among the beneficiaries of and participants in the global trading system. Both countries are committed to work for a more open global trade and investment system and jointly fight protectionism. The United States and China agree that to strengthen the effectiveness and legitimacy of the international financial institutions (IFIs) we must enhance their governance and ensure it fully reflects changes in the world economy. As two of the world's major economies, the United States and China share an interest in the IMF undertaking strong, even-handed and independent multilateral and bilateral surveillance.

Everyone has a negative comment on President Obama's management of this country. I do not see anyone's plan that seems fail safe. He was handed a country that had been turned upside down and inside out. He said every step of the way that there would be missteps made but together AMERICANS can turn things around. Bush never informed the American public of anything. To all of you racists..Black folks have fought, built, marched, voted, died and sweated for this land just as much - even more than any other people from another country..oh wait WE ARE AMERICANS!
