Let it be known that black folks are NOT "too fast" to catch the swine flu. Watch the propaganda-esque video and you'll understand.
This is not the first time we've faced down the swine flu. It's not even the first time we've faced a pandemic. In 1918, the Spanish flu killed 20 to 40 million people worldwide. Swine flu showed up again in 1976.
Unfortunately, the vaccine created to prevent infection turned out to be deadly for some. Twenty-five people died as a result of conditions triggered by the vaccine.
All these years later, the best advice to prevent infection is wash your damn hands! ...
Well, I added the damn, but I am sick of seeing people leaving the lavatory without washing both hands with hot water AND soap. I see people sneeze into their hands and then reach out to shake somebody else's. Cut it out! Pay attention to what you are doing. Look, we are facing an imminent pandemic. I may just have to call you out if you try to skip the sink.

In the commercial it said that people get the swine flu if they are an elderly or have chronic illness. In this day in age it has changed. Young and healthy people are getting it. We all shouldn't fear but take all precautions. We should trust and put our faith in God. I live in Pittsburgh and it disturbed me to see these group of people on our local news getting ready to travel to Cancun Mexico. These people were joking saying they have their med's, mask, ect.. and laughing! I was angry. How can anybody joke like that in a SERIOUS CRISIS! These people were disrespectful and ignorant! Nobody should joke and take this LIGHTLY! Here is the video from our local news station. How would you feel?

I pray everyday for the families that lost their loved ones and I will continue to pray for everybody's health in this world. I pray that it ends soon.
