From member befree1619:
I can't believe I am actually crying....as a kid I would sit on the living room floor listening to Thriller, staring @ the iconic album cover. I swear I didn't think I'd cry, but I am. He was my first musical crush and his were the only "star" buttons I wore. He broke my heart over the changes in his life and part of me was mad, but today I found out all the pieces were not broken....he still had a place in there...Miss U Mike.

From member conceitedcutie23:

I can't believe it. I'm in shock. Lord be with his family and friends in their time of need.

From member shortycasper:

I haven't cried yet. Still in shock. But like you I used to stare at that Thriller album cover for hours at a time. At 9 years old, he was the finest thing on earth to me!

From member nljacksonstcroix:
My heart aches. I really can't believe one of my childhood icons is dead. You can't tell me y'all didn't have a Beat It or Thriller jacket, and if you were lucky, you got the glove too.

From member tinarbnsn6:
I've loved you Michael Jackson since i was 8 yrs old and you were 9
