From AP: The Apollo Theater paid tribute to Michael Jackson and opened its doors for fans to come and remember the King of Pop, who played the famous Harlem theater.
Hundreds of Michael Jackson fans circled the block around the theater for a public tribute to the pop star, some spontaneously singing their favorite songs and dancing in the street. ...
But the highlight of the day-long event was the Rev. Al Sharpton dancing with director Spike Lee, then grinding up on some random MJ fan.
Mr. Sharpton, we've seen Michael Jackson dance, and you are no Michael Jackson.

why are you guys always haten on Mr. Sharpton. why don't you look at yourselves. what have you truely done to contribute to society making a differnece? Everytime someone try to make a difference in the world, we have dummies like you always tryn to tare them down but i have noticed on many occassions if a caucasion person (and they dont even have to be in the public eye)say derogatory things... our people are quick to support there every word and even justify their evil ways when they are purposely insulting our nationality, (simply stupidity)..How dare you sit up and talk about the only people who are just trying to help our people. what have Al Sharpton personally done to you? ..ignorance is not bliss

So...the man, who has constantly and openly pointed out white celebrities comments and wasthe one person calling for the jobs of white personalities has no problem dancing to honor a pedifile? Alright...now, please, somebody have the guts to call Al Sharpton anything less than a hypocrit, a racist. I am calling for his status to be removed as reverend. He has NO right to be on TV at all. And I can tell you this...very very few black actually pay attention to this fool. He should be ashamed.

Ok...I loved Michael Jackson's music as much as anybody. His music was a huge part of my childhood. I am very sorry he died at such an early age. I personally didn't like who he had become, but he, in his death, and his family deserve respect, as does anyone who has died or have lost a family member. As for Al Sharpton, I don't get it at all. The term Reverend refers to reverence. Anyone who has the audacity to carry that tag should act accordingly. I seriously doubt the Lord approves of a "Man of Reverence" bumping and grinding with a stranger on stage at any event! He is a joke!
