When I first saw this headline a few days ago, I didn't know the race of the child who'd been offered up for sex by his adoptive father, Frank Lombard. I felt relief and gratitude that this deviant had been caught and nauseated that anyone would adopt an infant to have an in-house sex slave.But today, I find out that this perp deliberately sought a black child because he would face less scrutiny in getting his hands on a black infant [warning graphic]:
In the chat transcript, WRAL reports, "F.L." is asked how he got access to a child so young. "Adopted," he replied and said that the process was "not so hard ... esp (sic) for a black boy."
In the chat, "F.L." told [Det. Timothy] Palchak that abusing the child was "easier when he was too young to know what was happening and when he couldn't talk. ...He had a little too much Benadryl. This horror of a case plays into every suspicion, reluctance and skepticism of those us of concerned about cross-racial adoptions. Of course, on its face, it's not a rational apprehension.
Certainly, headlines and Department of Child and Family services offices are filled with biological and same-race adoptive and foster parents abusing children in their care.
But those of us who understand how insidious racism can be are cognizant of, and worry about, the possibility that white adoptive parents may have less-than-wholesome motives for adopting a black child.

not since i saw a white woman (who asked me what i was looking at) with a little black girl with TWO black eyes have i heard something so horrific. i had just gotten to the point where my left eyebrow didn't automatically arch when i saw this type of cross-adoption on the street. still don't think madonna is fit to have any positive influence over a black child. now with all of the gay white men on the west coast adopting black male infants and toddlers, while i am not homophobic - this did not help your case.

Look ED - it matters because of the history of race in this country, because white slavemasters male and female were obsessed with black genitals/genitalia. the first thing white men did was castrate the men and rape the women all while telling us we were only 3/4ths human! (why would you rape something that wasn't quite human unless you were pretty f**king sick) it matters because of peeople like jeffery dahmer and all those like him that we don't know about yet. all sorts of stories and myths were created around it. some continue to this day. it matters 'cuz how many black jeffery dahmers do you know. how many black women do you know that fantasize about being with a studly white man? - real talk

The reason no one knew the race is because the media woudn't cover it. This happened over a month ago. Duke had racial probems with their lacross team. White gays are given Back babies like it's cheese. Incedents such as this happen all the time.

Iam sick to my stomach even more than when the news first came out.I hope he when goes to prison he shares a cell with black inmates to experience more than this poor child did,That would be partial justice,( We must keep this child in much prayer)
