New York congressman Peter King rips Michael Jackson a new one in a strange YouTube video that's circulating.King says the "media" and "society" is screwed up for putting Jackson on a pedestal, calling the singer a "low life" and "child molester." King adds, "He may have been a good singer, but the bottom line is would you let your child or grandchild be in the same room as Michael Jackson?" (via PopEater)
I think congressman King should take his soap box to Harlem outside the Apollo theater and see what people there think. Otherwise, you can take your opinion to the congressman's inbox.
Should we be surprised that something like this is coming from an old white Republican and, as one BlackVoices member put it, 'a known a-hole?' Noooooo. It sound's like something Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly would say.
But why's this grumpy guy so filled with hate and venom?

This was all for ATTENTION for the REPUBLICANS! People like him just don't like seeing other people and the media remembering and honoring the talented/gifted artist "MICHAEL JACKSON"! People like him or so full of HATRED and JEALOUSY because they aren't in the SPOTLIGHT!

Yes you are so right. The only problem is they hate to see a black man of any kind receive recognition. Hey they need to get over it because black people are smart and educated, and talented to. Hey MJ was talented and people are paying their respects and giving him his props, which I think he highly deserves. LONG LIVED THE KING!!! RIP MICHAEL JACKSON........

Hmmm, I find it especially ironic that he said this after Michael's death. Well... that doesn't count sweetie, if he couldn't say it about Michael while he was alive... too late to say it now.
Now I am wondering what he thinks of the white male FBI agent who adopted a black child and not only had sex with that child, but past the child around to his agent buddies.
What about THAT Peter King... let me hear your comments on that!

Mr. King do you have information about the molestation case that no one else has? If so, you should have appeared in court and testified against Michael. STICK TO POLITICS!!!!!

Why does no one mention MJ's humanitarian work? He's fed far more starving people than this congressman would even think of feeding. MJ actually donated all of his money from one of his concert tours to help feed children in Africa. This politician probably wouldn't lift a finger for anyone but himself & his own family. There's a reason why MJ is mourned around the globe & music is only a part of it. As far as the court cases go the general attitude is that it was extortion; but even if you believe in rumors without the evidence to back it up you cannot ignore what MJ did to help the poorest & most forgotten people in this world. Congress, as I recall, turned a blind eye.

It is usually the hypocrited closet freaks like this King who doesn't even known MJ, but wants some of the spot light by coming out saying something so hateful about a man who has just lost his life and while a family is grieving. He is one piece of useless nothing.
