I loved MJ music, I completely recognize his talent; I consider him the Shakespeare of pop music: all music after will owe to him, and dance too. But all this said, I do not understand how a man who loved others so much and was so much in favor of self accemptance reduced himself to a mmonster. look at his pictures: he destroyed himself! I feel immense sadness when I look at his pictures. The only person he needed to accept the most, himself, he did not. He had become a scary person whom we would all RUN from had he not been MJ with all his money and fame. Michael, I know this is probably due to lots of problems you had, but not to be able to deal with them in healthy way it is the only huge disappointment you gave me.
So why would people still accept and love him? probably because of his immense talents, because what he did was also a testimony of the huge intenrnal struggles he had to deal with...and who does not simpathise with him? I think we all could feel the frailty of this man and admire him even more for what he was able to build in spite of them.

Michael had an incurable skin disease. Nobody believed him...they wanted to believe he wanted to be white, I have a video you can look at that will help you understand the disease and how it affected Michael. MJ turned white in front of the whole world, and kept on singing. He had work done on his nose two times. First, his dad constantly teased about how big his nose was. At some point, Michael broke his nose, and while he had the bridge fixed,he has his nose reshaped. That's the nose you see in Thriller. Meanwhile, Michael was steadily becoming white. He actually had to put white features on his face because he had turned white. So, you have the change in skin color and the cosmetic surgery. Then, he felt he looked to girly, so he had a clef put in his chin. While all this was going on, people were calling him a freak, saying he didn't want to be black as well as other horrible things. Look at the video. It will give you some compassion for him. He was just a guy that took the hand life dealt him and found a way to live with it. God bless his loving soul.

YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THIS IS A YOUNG MAN WHO WAS SCARED VERY BAD AS A CHILD FROM HIS FATHER, THIS IS WHY MICHEAL LOOK THE WAY HE DID BECAUSE HE DID NOT WANT TOO LOOK NOTHING LIKE HIS FATHER. WHEN HE LOOKED IN THE MIRROR ALL HE SAW WAS HIS DAD AND HE DID NOT WANT TO LLOK THAT WAY. IT IS A SHAME HIS FATHER MESSED HIM UP LIKE THIS AND NOW ALKS AROUND AS HE HAVE DONE NOTHING. THE OTHERS LEARNED HOW TO HANDLE THE ABUISE BUT THIS WAS SOMETHING MICHEAL COULDNT NOT HANDLE. IT IS VERY SAD, AND WHEN THAT JUSGEMENT DAY COMES HIS FATHER WILL HAVE TO ANSWER TOO THAT, AS WELL AS THE FAMILY WHO ACCUSED HIM OF MOSLEATION OF THEIR CHILD. I BELIEVE ITS A LIE BECAUSE IF SOMEONE HAD MESSED WITH YOUR CHILD AND YOU ARE THANK UPSET WHY DID YOU SETTLE OUT OF COURT.

To the management at BET: THIS IS HOW A TRIBUTE IS DONE!!!!!Unlike your trashy tribute at the BET Awards, This tribute had class, beauty, and spirit . No Rappers...Thugs...Hoochie Mammas and Ghetto Rats or obscene language. I'm sure Michael would be proud of this event. It incorporated people and music from all spectrums. This just proves how BET deliberately strives to be the low life...rotten...dirty...scandalous....perverted network on earth, that is ran by a buch of pimps and hookers!!!

The Michael Jackson Memorial service was very well put together and very touching. A+ class.
I pray for MJs family especially his children.
Like every other girl in the world, I was supposed to grow up and marry Michael Jackson. He was definitely a big part of my childhood.
Let us keep his memory alive by loving one another, for that was where his heart truly was.

why is it that people jump on the band wagon when a subject is popular.the way people are turning out for this funeral seems suspect to me. i gave my portion of sadness for a few minutes maybe longer, but the death of members of my family weighs far more than michaels, yes i respect the death of michael and everyone i know of,but my family the ones who were with me is the ones that gets what michael is getting from many on earth.i've never seen michael in person, michael has never contributed a dime to assist me in my life, but my family has, people that are attending this funeral probally didnt give their own family the statements and love they giving michael,i consider that as fake and just jumping on the band wagon.you can have sadness for the death of a person, but in truth and honesty i dont see putting no other before god,and i dont see a person getting more than my family when it comes to death of a person

I agree that the Memorial was very Classy . . . on another note, I was surprised by Rev. Sharpton, having never heard him preach, I was impressed. Overall, the ceremony was moving.
Thanks for the Memories and the Music, RIP, M.J.

It was a very fitting memorial service for such a great spririted man. He will truly be missed by so many people. He did the work he was sent to do. I have NEVER heard and doubt will EVER hear anyone with Michael's vocals; especially his childhood vocals. To hear Berry Gordy say Michael sung "I'll Be There" in three octaves...at 11 yrs old blew me away at such a young artist/genius.
RE: BET Awards: all i can say is they should have stopped after MAXWELL. To end with his performance would have been very nice.
