Bravo Chris! Chris Brown has taped a full, unequivocal apology for his assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna in February. On the tape, Brown appears sincere, contrite and humble.
He offers no excuses. See for yourself:
Chris Brown states that he wants to live a worthy of the title role model; I'd say he's taken a powerful step on that journey. I had hoped to see something like this from him.
Good Lookin' out Michael K @ DListed

Well done Chris Brown, you showed courage, and know it takes a real man to except his mistakes and realize that he can and should do better, know that you are not alone, I pray that God use your mistake and turn it into a ministry to help others. Fame and fortune is wonderful however if your soul is not complete it means nothing. I pray that god reveal himself to you in such a way that greatness will evolve from your hands and everything that you do will prosper because God has the final say concerning our lives not man, be not discourage but keep your head up and know that purpose lies ahead in God's plan for your life. I also pray for the young lady, that she would be made whole and not except the bad but purpose to move forward with her life.

If you get an apology accept it, then choose how to handle it.
If we didn't accept apologies, then we would all harbor hate for someone.
Some people are too arrogant to apologize, however it makes you stronger, not weak.
Apologies don't mean that you forget what happened, but how long can you hold someone in contempt?

CHRIS, EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES...IT IS A BIGGER MISTAKE IF WE DON'T LEARN LESSONS FROM THE MISTAKES THAT WE MAKE. YOUR APOLOGY SOUNDS VERY SINCERE. YOU HAVE DONE THE RIGHT THING AND YOUR FANS WISH YOU THE BEST WITH YOUR CAREER.

Nice job. Now Rhianna needs to do a public apology. Women should keep their hands to themselves also. She certainly shares blame for what happened that night. Men should not hit women and women should not hit men.

Hey Mr. Chris Brown I can't speak anyone else but I want you to know that I forgive you and I'm still a fan. I know from my passed experince that we loose control of situtions and we react instead of thinking or taking a time out. I sure that all of these people who are making such a big deal about your sitution need to look in the mirror and think about the things or the mistake they made, no one is perfect. There have been plenty of people who are more famous then you that have made bigger mistakes. People on the outside always want to judge and talk about someone or something. You are still young and you have a big long life ahead of you and this is something that you will learn from then next time a sitution like this presents itself to you. It will take some time but it will go away just like everything else. I'm still your fan and please don't stop doing what you do best keep dancing, acting and singing. And don't worry about what people say , God has given you a gift use it. God Bless You take care!

Not buying it. Apology is scripted and not from the heart. If he was truly sorry, he would have apologized a long time ago. Yes, we all make mistakes that we hope to one day be forgiven for but Chris Brown needs to understand the severity of his actions. I think he is just trying to save his career right now and does not seem genuine in his apology.

I am glad to see that he understands what he did was wrong and inexcusable. I applaud him for taking responsibility for his actions and for his apology and his understanding that this should never happen again and that he let a lot of people down. I am also pleased that the understands that there are people that look up to him and he also let them down.
I hope now that he can go forward and hopefully this incident will be put behind him and he stays out of trouble from here on.
