Sunday was the tipping point, to use a tired phrase. When a black pastor from Harlem asks President Obama to prove his citizenship you know something's up. The so-called "birthers" movement has become more than just a bad joke that most people with half a brain laugh about. I'd almost had enough last week when I read about a soldier who refused to deploy over this nonsense.
But now it's official. President Obama being born in Kenya, not Hawaii as his birth certificate says plain as day, will go into the history books as full-fledged conspiracy theory. ...
Exhibit A: Rev. James David Manning isn't just any black pastor in Harlem. Manning has hated President Obama's guts, to put it mildly, for almost two years.
Now, he's the latest to take his place in the "birther" conspiracy theory/urban legend, along with folks like Alan Keyes.
On Sunday, the church sign at his small chapel read: "The Blood of Jesus Against Obama. Mr. Obama Show Us Your Birth Certificate. No Dew Nor Rain."
Now for the video below, in which Manning calls Obama a "criminal" who should be arrested. "There's a snake in the White House. He needs to be snaked out," Manning said. Spoken like a true snake charmer.
So what implication does this have? Well, first let me say congratulations to the idiots who have pulled off the biggest hoax of my lifetime. There's too many of you to count. You will never be forgotten. You will be talked about for eternity, like the people who say NASA faked the Apollo moon landing.
By the way, how's that holding up 40 years later?
Our grandchildren and their grandchildren, sociologists, psychologists and history experts in folklore will study and reevaluate the birther conspiracy theory forever. There will be movies made. Books will be or have been written. Court documents, YouTube videos and Web sites will make it seem as real as the smoke from the gunman on the grassy knoll.
Who really killed JFK? Where's Jimmy Hoffa buried? The framing of Bill Clinton, Sept. 11, Area 51, the Bermuda Triangle ... Obama's birth certificate.

Ray, in a much as I respect your right to freedom of speech, I cant beleive that you would cosign to such nonsense. The church is not the place to address the issues or concerns of Pres. Ohbama's birth right. Perhaps "Pastor Manning" should be concerned about homelessness, poverty, unemployment in his own backyard. Would he rather have another term of the Bush administration? You and Pastor Manning should choose your battles wisely. Pres. Obama doenst have to explain himself or prove anything to you. Obviously someone felt that his birt right was authentic. The American people felt he was credible enough to be where he is, so what is the problem. Can he really do anymore harm than Bush did. Let me pose this question to you and Pastor Manning, if Pres. Obama were to leave the White House today based on your accusations, what would be your plan of action then?

Mike, I think you need to do a little homework. Start with the Declaration of Independance and the U.S. Constitution. Yes, he does have to show his records to us, he works for US!! Would you go to a doctor and not know if he is licensed? Would you hire an illegal alien without checking his green card? The list goes on. To answer your question "what would I consider doing if he was found not to be a U.S. citizen?" Personally, I would like to throw out all the whores in Washington and start over regardless of their party affiliation!! Now answer my question, Why won't Obummer show these documents? And none of that childish crap " na na na naaaaaaaa because he doesn't have to". What is he hiding?

Let me art by saying, you're an idiot. I would normally not use such a simplistic term, but your lack of literacy skills convinces me that you wouldn't understand what I was saying if I called you an imbecile or a cretin. I will try to make this simple so that even someone with your limited mental capabilities can understand. President Obama has provided his birth certificate to web sites, fact check organizations, TV station, newspapers and several other outlets. He's not going to come to your house and show it to you. The form which has been presented is what you receive is you request a birth certificate now. It has been authenticated, verified, documented, and whatever other term you want to use to say that he has proven that he was born in Hawaii. The officials in Hawaii have validated his birth. Someone commented on your spelling, which is atrocious, but your reading comprehension is severely limited, also, as is evidenced by your responses. Since you obviously don't understand what you read, perhaps this video can help you understand.

As even someone as mentally challenged as you should understand, his family moved several times while he was growing up, so it is entirely reasonable to believe that the old document he may have received as a child could have been misplaced. It has been authenticated, verified, documented, and whatever other term you want to use to say that he has proven that he was born in Hawaii. The officials in Hawaii have validated his birth. Howard, What does my spelling have to do with a birth certificate?? And I find it highly ironic that you choose to pick on my few mispelled words when 99% of the people responding here are by far worse spellers than I. Just answer the question!!!

The end is fast aproaching
A USA Today/Gallup Poll out Tuesday morning delivers some bad news for Barack Obama.
Here are the key finding of the national poll:
By 49%-47%, those surveyed disapprove of how he is handling the economy, a turnaround from his 55%-42% approval in May. The steepest drop came from conservative and moderate Democrats.
By 50%-44%, they disapprove of how he is handling healthcare policy.
A 59% majority say his proposals call for too much government spending, and 52% say they call for too much expansion of government power.
Expectations of the economy's turnaround are souring a bit. In February, the average prediction for a recovery was 4.1 years; now it's 5.5 years.
