Forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol acted together with at least two sedatives to cause Jackson's death.
Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson's personal physician in the last weeks before his death, will likely face manslaughter charges. Murray is last quoted as saying that he "told the truth and has faith the truth will prevail."

This whole commentary is disgusting, The guy was an addict this is what they do jails institutions and death. Someone killed Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, Heath Ledger, DJ AM and the thousands of others that have died or taken someone's life under the influence. Yes Michael, but is was and will always be just a musician. Move on, with the state of the economy and world affairs he is a grain of sand in the big picture.

Not defending the doctor but people need to also look at MJ drug history. He had been taking drugs for long periods of times, according to his body guard and nurse.I have no doubt in my mind Mj knew consequences because he asked the nurse to administer it and she said,No and gave him reasons why she wouldn't.He wouldn't take no for an answer and hired Murray. In my opinion I feel he had been getting this drug for awhile and then this time it was too much for his heart. It's a sad case and my heart goes out to the fans and his family.Murray should lose his license but being charged for murder i don't think so because in order to be charged for murder, they have to show intent.

Michael Jackson's doctor is the only person the police can come up with to arrest! Michael was dead long before this happened! It looks as if the doctor was only trying to comfort his needs and distress from our so called "entertainment world." It's not fair nor is it realistic to go after the doctor. Doctors are after the fact... After we are sick! No one wants the responsibility of admitting wrong doing to contributing to his death! From what I see the entertainment world does what it takes at any cost! Doesn't matter who they hurt, homes and relationships that they break up, nor does morals have any relevance. They have no consideration for anything and will do anything to get publicity themselves. Yet after all these years of chasing this man's life out of him, the only one they can blame is the doctor, who happens to be black! I don't know what morals anyone else have, but I do know usually if you are successful, black and making a living no one likes it, and they go through the extremes to ruin you! That's a fact!

Dr. Murray is at fault here. Firstly, given the dosages that he was giving his patient and the cocktail that he gave to him prior to the propofol, he should have at least said to Michael,"hey I know that you want to sleep but let's wait for some of these meds to wear off then I'll give you the propofol." I'm no doctor but even I know that you don't take meds too close to each other that some have reactions to others. But it looks like he wanted to get some shut eye himself and just tried to get Mike to stop whining so he gave it to him. It was more than greed at work here, it was stupidity, frustration, aggravation and probably a bit of fright. Fright that Michael would probably tarnish his rep if he didn't fulfill his wish and he'd have no practice to return to. Poor fellow, now he'll really have to practice to return to.
