McCall said her mother, LaRhonda McCall, "beat, whipped, choked and tied up" her brother, often locking him away for days at a time. McCall kept her brother alive by sneaking food to him when their mother was away. In 1996, LaRhonda McCall was convicted of manslaughter for starving to death her 2-year-old child. [Yahoo News]
