Cornel West is no doubt the 2nd most powerful Black voice in the world today. President Obama being the President of the United States is number one, as long as he is president. Cornel West is the Malcom X of scholors, he is contriversal in that he will not shy away from anyone or any debate. He is so powerful that the top Universities in the nation bid for his talant. Cornel West is the last of the great Black leaders of our time. The new Black leadership today does not challenge the issues that Black people in America face today for fear of their image with white America, they say just enough to get the Black support, and do just a little to keep white America on their side. With the large number of Black mega churches in America today, you would think a powerful leader would have emerged for the cause of Black America like the Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr., besides just taking in offferings and building mega churches. I live in an area of Miami that has thirteen churches in a one square mile area, and not one church leader stands up for the Black community in that area, if you want to know what is going on you have to go into their church. I believe in the holy church, the churches helped get us out of slavery, but today they are siding with the slave master, as long as they can bring in money and stay invisable on Black issues.West challenges Black leadership as much as white leadership.Hats off to one of the greatest Black minds in history. A mind is a terrible thing to waste, Cornell West has proven that.

Why don't everyone bury the hate and say something positive for a change? People whine about this that and the other thing. Use your energy towards something positive and the hate will leave. I love everyone and I would like to see all of you in heaven. Love your neighbor, set an example. Don't give people something to point their fingers at. So since we have all these great leaders.
When is the violence in chicago and other urban
black areas going to really stop.
When is the white controlled media going to
stop promoting and exploiting other blacks with
all this updated minstrel show, connery activity.
When is updated,21st century neo-slavery going
to stop?
When is the truth going to come out about who
really put all the crack and guns in the black
community to the point now,the violence
and the people from that era are just lost and
just out of control.
When will all these distorted tv,talk shows
stop exploiting poor black people
who are only interested in 15 minutes of fame.
When is the prison industrial complexy going to
finally shut down so black men can come home
and reclaim their familes and neighborhood.
Since these are the guys are the most powerful
black leaders, when is all this going to happen.

There are no black leaders. Just self serving pimps. There are no real black men. They have all punked out and put on panties. They have done nothing but help take the black race down. Where’s the leadership that’s doing something about the bloodbath and rapes taking place in black communities. Thugs hanging out. More prisons are needed to lock up all the worthless lazy dumb scumbag bums. Maybe coward black males will come out of hiding and act like men and clean up the community and make women and children feel safe. Man up or shut up so the white man can come in and do it by any means necessary.

Jesse Jackson exhuming genius? Oh please! Now, it's far more clear to understand why black America is in such a sad state of affairs with these kinds of so-called leaders. And, who appointed these people as our leaders anyway? I'm more than sure that we are a better people then this so-called leadership represents! Appears, we as black folks still have a mighty long way to go!

All you people do is TALK.......TALK.....TALK.....TALK.....
Where's the ACTION...Actions.....ACTIONS.......
Are you married to a real Black woman? What kind of wife do you go home to.......?
We are tired of VERBAL socialites......
If someone get ahead of you...or do better than you...do you try to Drag that person down as in the Case of Jessie Jackson vs Obama situation....
Until you people can address your own personal issues...you have NO right calling yourself LEADERS and expertise...Aman

We don't really need leaders like people crave. We each need to start where we are and take care of ourselves, then, our spouses and children, then our personal families, etc. You branch out from there. The breakdown of the family is where the problems begin.

Our real enemies wear red and blue, sell our women, shoot at us. Let's start attacking them not Cosby or Elder.

I meant to post "our real enemy is NOT Imus etc....." You see what I'm getting at. We tend to get hyped up for the meaningless situations and ignore the serious problems.
