It is really amazing that with all of the heavy issues facing this country, some political activists on the right are worried about their nickname, especially a nickname they're responsible for.
But that is exactly what's happening with the Tea Party activists, political conservatives who took their name from the Boston Tea Party protesters.
The problem is that the public has come up with a number of variations of the Tea Partier's name -- most famously, tea baggers. And this is where the fun begins.
The Tea Party members forgot to check the more modern usage of the term "tea bag," which is more likely to be heard on the Howard Stern radio show than 'Meet the Nation.' I don't want to get any parents mad, but let's just say that the term deals with the male oral sex. Anyone who really wants to explore its various meanings should visit Urban Dictionary.
Tea Party controversy reached a new level when President Barack Obama was quoted by an Oregon congressman as using the term "tea bag, anti-government people" in talking about groups opposing his health care reform efforts.
Now some of the Tea Party folks are complaining that anyone who calls them tea baggers are insulting them. Amazing.
If you have legitimate concerns about health care or the Obama agenda, voice them as loudly as you can. That's the type of democracy that our founding fathers, the guys who threw the tea, had in mind.
But as for your name, get over it. You picked it.

Blacks like socialist obama, as they are net recipients of the welfare state. The poor white teabaggers have to pay for it. In gratitude, they get ridiculed. Ironically, as the welfare state has grown, the black family has disintegrated ... all according to the democratic party playbook, the guiding principle being that those dependent on the government (instead of their family) will never vote to cut the size of government.
But, whites have woken up to this, and that's why obama poll numbers are plummeting, along with congressional democrats.
Obama, the community-organizer-in-chief, is not even constitutionally eligible to be potus:

Who cares about their name? I wish President Obama would stop whining about who is opposing him, it just make him look petty. I also wish he and his big wife would stop trying to make black Americans look like helpless victems. We are owning our own power as Americans, I have never needed the white man to do anything 'for' me. I make my own check.
