Last month, Carolyn Brown, 44, was not a happy camper when her boyfriend came home from work and started arguing with her. After going through a couple of rounds of a heated shout fest, the boyfriend, whose name is being withheld, told Brown he wanted out of the relationship, and then went to bed.
According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's office, this Boutte, La., woman allegedly cooked a huge pot of boiling grits, then poured the concoction on her boyfriend, who was fast asleep.
Police reports state that the victim was in dire pain and totally oblivious to what had occurred. After the incident happened, Brown fled the scene. A relative of the victim helped him wipe off the steaming grits. He was then immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for second-degree burns to this face and body. Sgt. Dwayne LaGrange of the sheriff's office says, "This type of incident is something you would normally see in the movies. It's unfortunate that it turned out to be a real-life situation and that someone would actually get that upset with another human being to actually throw hot grits on them. The victim is truly lucky not to have lost his eyesight by Brown's actions."
The latest nitty gritsy on the case: Brown was finally arrested last week and booked for second-degree battery. It wasn't immediately clear if Brown has hired an attorney.
Wasn't it only yesterday when R&B singer Al Green went through a similar series of events?

And what's with the quiz at the end? A special punishment for women? What's wrong with a regular punishment for people? It's a simple case of domestic violence and she deserves to be prosecuted accordingly. She'll be freeloading off of Uncle Sam for a long sentence if there's justice.

Yes it is wrong . I wouldn"t want anyone to do my dad or son that way . How ever I know frist hand when u are walked on by your husband for no reason . it really , realy, HURTS I MEAN HURTS.It is better to let them go .Men really dog some women out real bad. If u don't want me leave , Dont go back / forth with your mistress .Plus it don't take all night to make love to know woman.It is funny to the mistress. How would she feel if the shoe was on the other feet.

To understand why this woman was or will not be charged with domestic violence in this country go to youtube.com and look at the video clip "Reaction to women abusing men in PUBLIC." You will understand how unjust the legal system in America is.
