Update: It seems official: Diddy tweeted at 3:30 this morning that he is "juat [sic] married!" but then quickly backpedaled a few hours later to cover it up.
It appears that the world is buzzing about the pending marriage between hip hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs and his long-time girlfriend, Kim Porter. Reports are that Combs and Porter are going to tie the knot tonight at midnight. As the author of the book, "Financial Lovemaking 101," I want to give some quick thoughts that came to mind when I heard that Diddy and Kim Porter were going to take that big ol step.
1) The decision for Diddy to marry is a shocker, since he has been a major player on the singles scene for 15 years. It's surprising that Diddy is making this change, but with all the child support he has been paying, perhaps this is going to help his bottom line. At the same time, the financial responsibilities of marriage can put child support to shame, so let's hope that it's the right move for him at this time in his life.
2) Midlife Crisis, shall we? Diddy recently had his 40th birthday. I wonder if this recent benchmark has anything to do with Diddy's decision to get married. Perhaps turning 40 reminds Sean that he's not a kid anymore. Well, the truth is that he's not. Also, a man's testosterone levels drop by about 1 percent for every year he is older than the age of 35, so maybe there's something to be said about having sown your oats.
3) Tiger Woods is in the background of all of this: What really amazes me about Diddy's alleged decision to marry Kim Porter is that Tiger Woods is about to pay over $100 million dollars for his decision to get married to Elin Nordegren. I am impressed that Diddy is committed enough to marry Kim in spite of all that drama. Part of me wonders what the prenuptial agreement looks like. Diddy's not a stupid man.
I wish Diddy and Kim the best. It's clear that they love one another, so perhaps this is the next logical step. We'll see how this one turns out.

"SOWN" his wild oats! But anyway, I don't think it's wise of him to marry now. Seriously, why bother at this point? I just don't see it. Of course, I hate to say it, but Kim seems to put up with whatever he does. Would she change as a wife? Hmmmm, probably.....

I hope they do marry. Kim deserves a lifetime of happiness because of everything Puff has put her through. Perhaps Combs has finally grown up. Being a player is so played out. Jumping from bed to bed is nasty too. He is a poor example to his young sons that he is raising. Children need much more than fancy cars and clothes. Commitment is sexy. Loving your spouse, raising intelligent successful law abiding children is a blessing. I wish this family all the best. God Bless!!!

will you all, please stop saying these stars, and sports figures, are your idols, and you look up to them.i am not a religous fanatic.just a person who looves god,he is my idol.and i loooked up to my parents.please tell your children, and yourselves, its okey to admire someone for their talents, but live your lives,so you can lookup to yourselves, and your kids can to.,for instance,i read that tiger wood, were some peoples idol, and how they looked,up to him, lookup to our lord and savior, and idolize,no one but him.live a life where your kids, can look up to you.like i said early,in my statement, these people are only human, and admire them, for how well they live their lives, and how well they play sports.and idolize god.

Why do we care about this no-talent, blohard, snooty Negro? Yes, he's been paying his child support, which is good. But, he's a major DOG. Don't see him changing.
