Woman Kills Boyfriend By Sitting on Him
On Wednesday, Mia Landingham pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter for killing her boyfriend, Mikal Middleton-Bey, last summer.
How did she kill him? By sitting on him. Seriously.
Mia weighed about 300 lbs at the time, and Mikal weighed just 120 lbs, when the assault occurred.
According to Mia's public defender, there was indeed a "long history of domestic abuse between his client and her late boyfriend." Landingham, however, has no previous criminal record.
According to Fox 8, the victim's step-mother had this to say to Landingham:
"I just want to let you know how much you have hurt us by taking Mikal away from us."
Landingham was sentenced to three years probation and 100 hours of community service to which Middleton-Bey's sister replied, "So basically you can say that I can go sit on somebody and get probation? I feel there wasn't no[sic] justice."
For her part, Landingham told the judge:
"I just want to say that I am sincerely sorry about this situation.... I wish I could take it back."

She should be put away. If a 300 lb man sat on his baby momma that weighed only 120lb, he would be put away for decades.

I had to leave a comment because I didn't want anyone to confuse me with this other "Mike" above me. I know he used my screen name to confuse everyone that it was me. I never use the term 'baby mama' or 'baby daddy'. That's for stupid people and I sure aint that.
My take on this case: The black man has a even lower standard in the US Legal system than the black woman.
He should have also been strong enough to get that woman off of him - period.

The black man is no longer appreciated by anyone because they typically and casually discount themselves by MESSing with GALS like this. Maybe he should've been strong enough by not becoming involved with a hoodrat.
The black man lowered his own standards, and that's why the black man doesn't get any respect. Foreigners and people from third world countries transplant themselves in America, adhere to our way of life and LEARN to treat the black man as the black man teaches them to treat him. Foreigners don't even like black man, so what does that tell you about the mentality of today's black men?

Yeah Mike, I noticed the same thing. About a week ago I noticed someone using my name. I know there are other Wes's out there, but I never saw another one besides me on these boards until recently. As for The Truth's comment. There are men (including Black men) who love big women. And in this case, Mia is a light skinned Black woman, so what's the problem? And I've worked with lots of foreigners and they are definitely less racist in some aspects than American Whites.

Hey Mike. It's not just in the US that black men have lower status than black women, it is everywhere where black people are a minority . The reason for this is because they represent a bigger threat to white society!!!

He was NO VICTIM,SHE IS!
Mom's and Families always say (well almost) always, My Boy was a good boy,They took our Brother,Son or Friend away from us.But what they forgot to also say is that the boy,brother son and or friend was shouting at someone maybe a gang member or someone he was robing. and he got DEAD from doing something he had no business doing Like ABUSING HIS BABY MOMMA.

If he was whooping her tail, she should have sat on his wimpy behind a long time ago. Standards? Any man that beat on a woman (hoodrat et.al)should be buried 6 feet under, by any means necessary. If she was your sister or mammie, I bet you wouldn't have it, unless youre an Ike Turner or Chris Brown.
