TeaParty.org, a Houston-based group founded by Dale Robertson, has decided to further play the race card by sending out an e-mail portraying President Barack Obama wearing a pimp hat, with a mustache painted on his face. The hat has zebra stripes and even includes a feather. The subject line of the e-mail states, "Obama Pimpin Obama-care, one last time!"
Robertson's group was taken to task recently for a sign that the founder held up at a rally that used the word "niggars" in reference to tax payers under the regime of the Obama administration.
When you have outlandish protesters like Robertson, it's difficult to believe that the tea party protests against the president aren't at least a little bit racist. I am sure that every legitimate protester, who at least thinks that race has nothing to do with his or her disdain for Obama, is disgusted by the actions of Robertson. To that effect, many other tea partiers are partying as far away from Robertson as they possibly can.
But events like this do beg additional questions regarding just how much race has to do with the extreme hatred being shown toward President Barack Obama. Do they just happen to hate the president because they think he is too liberal or because they are not accustomed to dealing with African American authority figures? Many black scholars document fundamental disrespect in the classroom from white students who've never had a black teacher before. The disrespect from students is heightened when your teaching style differs from what students are accustomed to. It is not inconceivable that many people who hate Obama because he's black are not even aware that race has something to do with their disdain.
While we will never know the origins or the intent of the tea party protests (they seem to be more determined to undermine Obama than to sway his opinion), we do know that protesters like Robertson are not good for our country. At the same time, I'm sure that the president knows that these kinds of attacks simply come with the territory. I'm sure he can handle it, and so can we.

Never ceases to amaze us how AFTER President Barrack Obama takes office, (A black man), THEN and only THEN do people come out of the woods to flag up all every conceivable thing about the government they have always NEVER liked, for years, during when the presidents were white.
Now all of a sudden, AFTER there’s a black president, the flood gates of complaints get torn away into the media on long standing issues that PREDATED the black presidency.
And Unsurprisingly, the complainers are dominated by WHITES!
Misguided blacks that wrongfully interpreted having a black president as getting a free ride in life, only to go into a state of shocked after realizing that they’re still obligated with responsibilities they thought would just GO AWAY.
When will people come to terms that the COLOR of the president’s skin has nothing to do with his presidential Obligations.
Obama OWE the service of his presidency to the PEOPLE of America, NOT to a specific group.
Obama received the wheel of a sinking ship that was butchered by whites before HANDING it over.
But to the bewilderment of those who positioned themselves to profit from a capsized ship while in the hands of a black man, Obama, (That black man), saved the ship and its crew.
There were some casualties, but the ship was saved! –Followed by staging a rescue plan for those still in the water.
But rather than help Obama, yet alone reward him for his efforts in these dire times, those who COUNTED ON THE SHIP SINKING (after causing the leaks it sprung), THEN HOPED Obama would fail. Did they already know of the leaks?
Where was this National Level of complaints at this magnitude during the WHITE presidency, under whom these COMPLAINT were born?
Why during the white presidency, people sit smoldering in corners without saying a word until there’s a Black President in Office to vent (dump) it all on?
Did thay not think whites would care enough to listen?
But blacks are, right?
You ever notice how blacks are such easy targets to put down? Yet that same person stranded off the side of the road expresses more confidence that a black motorist would stop before a white one would?
You ever notice that during driving to an intersection, drivers express more confidence that the oncoming black driver would slow to let them cross than a white driver would?
You ever notice when blacks say “hello” to a white stranger of a certain age group, that white person is less likely to respond in like manor to the black person, in the presence of an Asian Person, as they tend to cock-eye that Asian while cold-shouldering the black person who gestured them with a “Hello”. (Guess what message they’re sending.)
You ever notice whenever something is godly spiritual, or the notions of a teary-eyed gathering of people, humbled by the holly spirit, the images whites portray as MOST CONVINCING to being TRUE to the worship of god and/or his holy presence, are images of blacks, NOT whites. –Go Figure.
If you don’t believe that, do a research of this yourself. You’ll find that whenever theirs a SERIOUSLY HOLY POINT to get across, (or to appear MORE convincing) or to BOOST the religious credibility of the preacher or speaker, watch the “SELECTED” members of the audience that are zoomed front-and-centered on camera to map with the words spoken, you’ll find them to be mostly blacks, by choice.
(Do they not believe zooming in on whites would be convincing enough to magnify the those moments of spiritual center of attention? .Wonder why.)
We’ve notice all these and much more.
Next time you’re out, don’t zone out, be more observant.
